Jamie and her team at A.R. Pontius were such a pleasure to work with for our wedding at The Talcott in Walloon Lake last September. From the first moment Jamie and I connected over the phone, it was evident, she could picture my vision for the wedding and that she had the expertise to make it so much better. We live out of the state and Jamie worked with us flawlessly via email, phone and even to schedule a site visit during one of our trips to the area. Jamie didn’t even blink when we challenged her to hang greenery from suspended strands of lights. Even when I asked for specific flowers to incorporate into my bouquet and the centerpieces, she used her creative eye and experience to incorporate every green and flower in the most beautiful arrangements, all the while she was working within the budget that we discussed. Jamie and the team at Pontius Flowers are truly magical! They did the flowers for both our rehearsal dinner and outdoor reception, and both were positively stunning. The floral “chandelier” they created for our reception quite literally took my breath away, and created gorgeous photos that we’ll cherish forever. Jamie is also a goddess of patience, and worked with us through multiple consultations and me changing my mind about our color palate/overall floral look about 6 times. A.R. Pontius Flower Shop provided the floral elements for our daughter's wedding at Bay Harbor on June 10, 2017. We could not be more pleased with the services Jamie, owner, provided. Everything, from the initial inquiry about a contract all the way through to delivery, was exceptionally well done. Jamie listened to the bride/groom's vision, offered helpful and creative ideas, and graciously accommodated last minute requests. Pontius delivered beautiful bouquets, boutonnières, centerpieces, aisle chair "tie-ons", a ceremony arbor, and flowers for the wedding cake. Two beautiful, huge arrangements in large urns adorned the entrance to the ceremony site and, later, the entry to the reception tent. Jamie even surprised the bride by including a special variety of flower in the bouquets that we were initially told may not be possible due to its being out of season at the time and quite fragile. Pontius was SO accommodating for us! We weren't wanting to spend the money to have centerpieces put together, but wanted to do a few small floral arrangements on tables and A. R. I had the pleasure of working with Jamie on a wedding this past Saturday. As a wedding coordinator it is very important to find excellent vendors that provide amazing service and product. Pontius flower shop definitely provided that and more. When there was a slight problem with some flowers that were brought in by family and friends for added decoration she provided an alternate solution that made everyone happy. In addition to this, she made both the ceremony and reception spaces simply gorgeous!
