We worked with Allison Rachlis to design our townhouse and are thrilled with the results. The whole process was great from start to finish and we found the price to be reasonable. Allison helped us figure out our style and used our inspiration pictures to find great pieces for our home. I've never worked with an interior designer before contracting with Anna. Unfortunately, designers that I've considered before were all talk or preferred high budget projects. Anna was different. I could tell how personable she was right away. She is no nonsense and waisted no time getting stared with designing a mood board for my first project. Her recomendations were spot on. She is patient and so easy going our meetings and conversations were affable, making the experience easier than imagined. Anna came to us at the recommendation of Southwest Construction. We were remodeling a home built in 1960; major renovations were necessary. Although we had general ideas about materials, fixtures, and appliances, we quickly became mired in indecision -- frozen in the paralysis of analysis. Anna has an innate sense which enables her to discern our taste, and she was very resourceful in showing us samples to help us narrow down our choices. She met us at a number of showrooms and supply stores; she was always punctual and prepared with notes regarding what we needed and our approximate budget. At each stop she proved knowledgeable about appliances, fixtures, and materials, guiding us to make the best decisions.

On a number of occasions, she came to the home and spoke to cabinet builders and others working on various aspects of the project (in fluent Spanish when necessary, by the way), clarifying what we wanted in terms of design and layout.

Anna often corresponded with us via telephone calls and emails throughout the process, and never left us in the lurch. I can recall more than once when she communicated with the contractor on our behalf to clarify our wishes.

She's a perfect resource for home interior ideas, and even beyond that, she's a professional, friendly, knowledgeable, resourceful, and classy lady. She helped us immensely, and she'll be a cinch to help you too. More...
