LSS -Lutheran Social Services holds the Foster License of a FOSTER family IN APPLETON on Morrison Street that during a finding of facts through an appealed substantiation of child neglect was found that: 1. The child ingested a barbiturate while in the care of the foster family. 2. The foster family had motive to implicate the Aunt of wrongdoing, subsequently the Aunt being substantiated of the neglect. 3. The foster family cast suspicion of the Aunt to medical staff for their own self interest in continuing care of the child. 4. The foster family had inconsistencies in the timing of the child’s illness. WHAT DOES LSS DO? Nothing. The child is still in their care. They didn’t revoke their license. They didn’t substantiate a claim of neglect. They just continue to let the child be in their home. This right here is how children in foster care get abused, neglected and die. The Aunt was cleared of all neglect. More...

Opens at 8am, yes you have to park far away, you're going to be walking anyway so who cares? Enjoy the day. How about ride your bike to the event if you're able? Walk the strip, take it all in. Look at prices & quality of items, compare them then walk back to the best buys! They have different variations of food for sale depending on the time of year, but some stuff is standard like the knickknacks. Btw the people watching is excellent, so grab some Hmong egg rolls or a freshly roasted cob of corn & soak in all that College Ave has to offer. More...

Love the farmers market. I only wish it would start earlier in the morning. I work nights so I have to kill over two hours before it actually opens.
