This is, BY FAR, the best dog training company I have ever encountered, here or elsewhere. My purebred GSD is a rescue who had been starved, abused, and otherwise ignored. At 2-1/2, he knew nothing. After just 9 sessions of gentle, fun training, he has mastered numerous commands, is well-behaved and is well on his way with loose-leash walking. After Lex graduates, I plan to re-enroll him for an advanced degree:) I encourage all those who love their dogs to not gasp at the cost...rather, consider the quality and the value of the training that will enhance your lives for years. Andrea and Kacey were helpful and worked so well with our puppy. We loved the personalized attention and focusing on our puppy's behavior and habits at home and teaching us how to work with her. Kacey would take our puppy all over town to socialize and would send us daily reports and pictures from places I didn't even know would allow dogs. We have also enjoyed the planned activities like the pack walks and intro to kayaking classes. I am a first time dog owner. I got Diana at 4 months old and I had no idea how to train her. She would pull on her leash, she would not come when called, and generally did not behave very well. I enrolled her in the Intense Puppy Training plan I had wonderful results. Diana is now a wonderfully behaved puppy who listens. I enjoyed having Kacie as an animal trainer, she worked around my schedule and even trained Diana without me being present due to work related complications. Having Andrea train ME to be a better dog parent to my rescue pup has been amazing!!! Bringing in a stray I found tied up, MUCH larger than the pups I already have was very overwhelming. Can't say enough good things about Animal Smart! Kacie is amazing! My dog is a rescue and had never had any training as a puppy, but you would never know it now. My pup and I loved the group activities. They were so much fun, plus it is a great way to get your dog socialized! Love that they practice positive reinforcement style training.
