I recently adopted from Animal Advocates and my experience was nothing short of amazing. After emailing my first inquiry, I received a response within just a few hours. It was such a relief after having contacted numerous other agencies and never hearing anything back! The staff was easy to work with, and they always accommodated our needs when scheduling meet and greets. It was also great to know that they take the time to look into the backgrounds of their adopters in order to assure that all of their animals are going into safe and loving forever homes. Very ethical organization. I have adopted 2 cats from Animal Advocates. They were very helpful with the entire process, since I was a new cat owner. Two of my three cats came from here, and they have benefitted from care and even meds, gratis. It's been more than two years, and the fact that they have bonded with the later addition to form an unbreakable alliance is my own fault.

I love being a foster person with Animal Advocates. We are a small group with an extremely devoted director, Patty Murphy.
We draw many of our animals from rural shelters where traffic is low. Advocates has a cat sanctuary above their thrift store where some cats will live comfortably for the rest of their lives if they don't get adopted.
I have met great people involved with Advocates, and have enjoyed fostering every one of my "babies" since January 2014. The nice thing about our small group is that we usually get updates to see how our rescues are coming along in their fur-ever homes.
