I've been cooking since I was 10. In charge of all family holiday meals as well as Sunday dinners since I was 23. I have been catering for one family for Thanksgiving for over 5 years. They have given me several referrals but I limit holiday catering because I prepare a feast for my own family.

Hi this is my review for Angie's Creations catering services on 11/04/2023. This is Ben and I paid Miss Angela to provide bartending & food (buffet style( for 40-60 people for my wife's 40th birthday celebration. I must first say that the bartending service was awesome; yet unfortunately the food was not. First the chafing dishes (warmers) were forgotten. Our event started at 8pm for guests to show up and the food was cold as if it had been sitting for hours. Angie apologized for it on site and it was no biggie. Once the people started eating the food, we had complaints from our invitees of how bland it tasted. Next we realized that the amount of food we had was not what we paid for. The foil pans were very cheap and the whole presentation of the food was unprofessional and not what we expected upon booking and viewing photos on Angie's page. The jambalaya, which was gummy, and green beans were in the same pan. Very unprofessional and a bad presentation. We feel that the food was rushed, thrown together as if it was a potluck. As a person that cooks for friends & family on many occasions , this was so embarrassing to hear our guest complain about the meal. My wife stated our comments and concerns to Angie the next day yet her feedback was not accommodating to what we paid for. This was an humiliation for my wife and I for something we saved money and paid for to be a night to remember. I do NOT recommend Angie's Creations to anyone needing food catering services! More...

Angie was very friendly but her catering was subpar. I ordered an Italian style meal with two types of noodles, two sauces, meatballs and chicken. She provided plenty of noodles, plenty of red sauce, but hardly any Alfredo sauce. She also had store bought meatballs. The chicken could feed 5 people instead of 20 as ordered. I also ordered a charcuterie board. The fruit was soft and not tasty. Her set-up was dollar tree items that she painted and added baby breaths as flowers. She showed up 40 minutes late and forgot the ice. I admire her entrepreneurial spirit but she needs more experience. More...

What’s your signature dish?
Pasta anything. Although I have to limit myself now, my family and I love Italian dishes. The first thing I mastered cooking by the time I was 14 was spaghetti. By 23 I perfected my own Alfredo sauce.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I ask about their favorite cuisine and restaurants.

Creating new menu items and putting spins on classics
What inspired you to start your own business?
Honestly I started preparing meals for families who had lost loved ones. I prepared the repass meals, I know crazy. That was my contribution. Some of those families asked did I or would I do a birthday or baby shower , the rest is history
Why should our clients choose you?
You take a chance on anyone who prepares your food,but since I do prepare food and have for years I am very picky when it comes to where I get some of my food items. I'm just as picky about my restaurant choices. Every restaurant is not created equal and just because a restaurant is 4 stars doesn't mean the food is.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I prefer to meet with only 2 people as it may be me and a staff member. I offer taste testing at less crowded spots or in the client homes(in certain circumstances) if they prefer.
Catering
I provide catering for birthdays,anniversaries, funeral services, church functions, baby showers, retirement parties, weddings, engagement house warming, post surgery,and holiday functions.
Event Planning
I do offer full and partial planning for weddings and milestone birthdays as well as children parties.
Event Decor
I provide full service or partial service event decoration services. These services include table linens chair covers, center pieces,and candy buffets.
Party Favors
Party favors services are for weddings ,birthdays and any events with 25 or more guest. I provide the favors and bags or boxes.
Linens,Letters,Number Rentals
I do offer table linens,chair covers, block letters and numbers for rent. I bring to location and arrange for pick up by end of event or the next day.
Bartending
Bartending minimum is 3 hours
If you are only needing 1 or 2 hours the fee will be $75 or $80( depending on location) an hour.
We can provide liquor for your event. All Bartending services include setup, breakdown, disposable cups and garnishments.
**Since we are an all female crew most services include at least 2 bartenders. **
