What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
It's imperative to know your particular audience and their music taste. Playing certified bangers, sprinkled with specific deep cuts catered to each party is guaranteed to make everyone’s night unforgettable.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
We like to play hip-hop, dance, throwback, house, pop, etc.! Our style of DJ'ing is playing the right song at the right time. We like to mix a variety of genres together in a cohesive and fun way. However, if you have a new favorite song, we can play that as soon as you want.
What do you love most about your job?
There's nothing we Iove more than seeing people's physical reactions when they hear their favorite song played. Chances are we love that song too.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My wife and I just got married in February, where we both DJ'd our own wedding after party. It was intoxicating, and such a fun experience we got to share with our family and friends. After many years of discussing if we should do weddings, DJ'ing our own cemented the idea that we absolutely must bring the same party energy that we've been daydreaming about, whether it's a wedding or a rooftop birthday party bash.
Why should our clients choose you?
We understand that the music matters. We're super collaborative, and we listen to all of the clients requests/suggestions/direction. We can work with highly specific instructions (i.e. client wanting to play a song until the first chorus, or playing tracks in a specific order), or we can also play the vibe if their direction is just hip-hop. We're very versatile, and open to playing what the client wants to hear.
For weddings, my wife (Michelle) is a killer MC. Personable, fun, and doesn't hog the mic :)
