Services

This is generally a full body session (specific targeted areas as well) with cream/oil. The therapist will use an intuitive approach to feel what the body needs, along with listening to specific client needs. These sessions will draw from multiple modalities such as; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Nueromuscular Therapy, Lomi Lomi, Structural Integration, Craniosacral Therapy, Shiatsu, Tui-Na, and Thai Massage.

Deep Tissue is a modality where the therapist uses very little, or no oil/cream. Only the natural oils in our skin are needed when combined with a warm healing hand to body connection. Deep Tissue has powerfull results with patience and teamwork between therapist and client. With deep pressure by the therapist and deep breathing from the client together they will achieve major gains in muscular release and relaxation. 30-120 minute sessions will be based on what is most important to be worked on within that scope of time. With longer sessions, more areas of the body can receive proper treatment.

Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques including gliding, kneading, and cross-fiber friction to break up muscle knots, called adhesions. Swedish massage is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology. It can be slow and gentle, or vigorous and bracing, depending on what the therapist and client want to achieve.

Thai Yoga is a massaged developed in Thailand, and consist of many different stretching positions along with compressions and stirring while using a rhythm that moves seamlessly from one position to the next. This massage is fantatstic for athletes who dont want deep tissue but still want long lasting muscular relief.

Craniosacral Therapy is a form of bodywork based on the concept of “primary respiration” and regulating the flow of cerebral spinal fluid by using light touch to manipulate the synarthrodial joints of the cranium. This generally gives the effects of deep sleep, relaxation and meditation.

Shiatsu means Finger Pressure in Japanese. It is also known as Zen Touch. Shiatsu is based on ancient oriental medicine revolving around a style known as Five Element Theory. This modality uses the knowlege of 12 energetic rivers called Meridians which are energetically connected to 12 different organs in the body. Shiatsu uses Five Element Theory and Accupressure on specific pressure points (Tsubos) within the meridians to balance the body physically and energetically. One could expect a nurturing touch consiting of rocking the body, passive joint movements, compressions, stretching, and accupressure point stimulization.

Bathe in the healing vibrations of Crystal Tones Signing Bowls. In sessions one will experience a unique set of Signing bowls specifically tuned to relax and relieve stress on the endocrine system. The immersion in sound guides you into a deep meditation or a dream like state leaving you relaxed, rested, and rejuvenated. Sound healing is available as an add-on to your massage, or can be a stand alone treatment to enjoy by yourself or with a loved one.
