I began professional dog training in Ohio in the 1990s, appearing regularly on local television and in clinics and seminars at businesses, including various veterinarian offices, Joseph-Beth Booksellers, and Borders Books and Music.

Barley & I had our first training session yesterday. Barley learned quickly however his mom didn't learn as quickly. I did retain the information & we did our homework this morning. I have to say Barley remember everything & continued to work hard. I even did well. I highly recommend Amy. we learned a lot within a hour. I had my first training session with Amy last night for my dog Dj. DJ is a black mouth curr and a puller. She's very strong and strong-willed and I have been working with her and trying everything I could to fix the behavior. I watched every tv trainer show I could find and spent way more money on no pull harnesses than I'd like to admit. when Amy arrived my dog instantly changed. She responded right away to the collar Amy recommended and she taught ME what to do to correct the behavior the right way. I love that she taught me what to do and didn't just train the dog for me. and to test us both after Amy left I walked my dog to a busy food truck and back with NO pulling. No yelling or tugging nothing. I simply used the technique she taught me and my dog was an angel. All this after ONE hour. The session was completely worth it and I would recommend anyone struggling with doggy behavior issues to see Amy. More...

I saw too many dogs get blamed for bad behavior because of lack of positive training, many ending up being euthanized.
