I saw these guys at my friend's wedding and I had to have them at mine! Of all the things that can go crazy on your wedding day, these guys were cool, collected, and they made sure everyone had fun. They even played baby shark at the request of my flower girl and managed to get the entire room up and doing the dance! They have a photo booth which was another major hit. Patrick designed my own logo and they printed the pics on the spot for the guests! We had so much fun! They covered the ceremony music as well and I had very difficult requests! Without Amplified Events, my wedding could have been a disaster. But these guys saw when things were going awry and they jumped in to help and pulled it all together! *If only my photographer was as good as these guys were! However, they made up for it and then some! When they noticed he wasn't taking the right photos, they even helped take pics with their phones and sent them to me. Amplified Events was by far the best and easiest part of planning our wedding. From the first call, their team took care of me and got to know my taste in music to ensure that our wedding playlist would be exactly as we wanted. They have an easy-to-use website that allows you to make requests and even ban songs that you don’t want to hear. On our wedding day, they checked in a few times with me to let me know which event would come next so that I was never surprised. After our wedding, several of my friends even asked for the playlist! This company is full of experienced DJs. If you are able to book them for your wedding, company party, or a general party you will not be disappointed. Let's just say they will get you on the dance floor, whether its your groom's grandma or your boring boss, they will get them on the dance floor. If dancing is not your concern, the atmosphere and vibe will always be stress-free and entertaining as the DJs are excellent crowd pleasers for all ages. I have to start this review by saying Amp Your Events deserve 10 stars. The entire process from start to finish was a breeze. The company has as a well built website that allows you to make payments, select songs from an extensive music bank, and leave notes on what genres to play. The owner Patrick is easy to work with and his goal is to make your event a success. Their set up is out of the world and looks very professional. These guys were great the entire planning process. They came out and met with us before wedding day to go over where everything would be at. They had something going on the weekend of our wedding and one of them was not able to come. I was not worried at all because there was 2 of them to start off but I was surprised when they had someone else come that day to help with DJing. He was awesome as well! Amplified Event's is definitely one of the best DJ's I have ever worked with. My wife and I have been a part of filming over 100 weddings and this was the first time we have ever seen a DJ use fog machines and lasers.
Coming from a videographer and photography background this will make your reception photos and videos look INCREDIBLE! Beyond their talent, the crew was the nicest and easiest DJ that I have ever worked with. All day they were asking if they could help us in anyway. I would recommend Amplified events to anyone who is looking for the real deal DJ!

Absolutely amazing service! Patrick O'Connor and his fiancee DJ'd both my wedding and reception working flawlessly around complications lack of power outlets at both venues. They set up at both locations prior to the event so transition from ceremony to reception seamlessly. They came and set up well in advance of the wedding ceremony and provided our officiant with a lapel microphone. Plus they had plenty of wireless microphones to go around for toasts. They knew just where to set up that would be out of the way for photos and closest to the dance floor. They were able to find even the most obscure versions of songs requested and used a few song examples to generate the perfect playlist for the cocktail hour and reception. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
A good DJ can read the crowd and play what they want to hear. We have one DJ who focuses on the music and one MC at every event to make announcements, watch the crowd and communicate with other vendors to ensure everyone has a great time at your event!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
We aren't the DJs that just push the play button every once and a while. We love interacting with the crowd and getting people involved. If you are looking for DJs that are both professional and keep the crowd dancing all night, we're the company you want to call. Our name is "Amplified" Events," for a reason!
