American Eagle Builders

Having decided to replace the windows on our house, we began researching companies and receiving quotes. American Eagle Builders earned our business for many reasons. The first being that the representative who visited us, Ty, was very friendly and informative. We asked lots of questions regarding the warranties and financing. He explained how simple repairs are, in the case of damage, every window comes with a barcode, and a picture of the barcode is all it takes to get the correct part en route. Ty also made suggestions that saved us more than $300, by combining two touching windows into one large window. After signing the papers we were soon contacted by our contractor, Mike, and measurements were done. Two weeks later we had our instal day set. The ENTIRE process, from introductions to farewell, was 29 days. We are beyond happy with the work, the product, and the people we interacted with. The crew who worked on our house were a pleasure to converse with, I asked questions throughout the day, and even had them adjust (as much as is possible) a window that I wasn’t happy with. Tyler, the lead, was good at easing my concerns. Britain was replacing my back door, and even when it decided to be difficult, he had a good sense of humor and worked through the problems. A different Mike than the contractor, was AMAZINGLY detailed in everything he did. He went the extra mile in everything he touched. After watching him work, and reviewing his touch with calking, I didn’t feel a need to inspect his work. The last gentlemen working was Scott, and he was happy to do whatever was needed, he also gave me lots of advice on painting. In close, I would strongly recommend that everyone at least get a quote from American Eagle Builders. Their prices were extremely reasonable, the timeline short, and their employees professional. Our home was in state of much needed repair as well as new siding. American Eagle replaced all rotten wood and the siding they installed is beautiful! Saleman helped us with color choices and streamlined the finance process. We felt like they really cared as much about our home as we do. Installers were respectful, courteous and know their stuff. Overall we are very satisfied with the windows and the installation process. We had a few hiccups such as a miscommunication about the style of one particular window between the sales guy and the installation team. Anyway, we ended up with the wrong window but I didn't notice until it was installed. I didn't want to make them take it out and redo everything so instead they sent us a visa gift card for their mistake. They also dinged the siding of our house a little but fixed that as well. They would have been willing to replace the section entirety but we just had them patch it up, it's hardly noticable. These guys were great!!! The crew put in 18 windows, after prepping all the rooms which included,(moving furniture, putting down sheets of plastic over everything) nobody stood around doing nothing. They were constantly working, all trash was picked up, everything they moved they put back, couldn’t tell they had even been here!! Excellent workmanship, never seen caulking as quick n good as that. Xplained how to use the double hung windows again before leaving. Where do I start with American Eagle Builders? It's just way too many positive points to note. They are very professional courteous and prompt. They are bringing great business practices back to the American Consumer. Great product at a great price with great professionalism. You really couldn't ask for more! They seem to genuinely care about their customers. And that's a hard thing to come by these days! My attic was insulated with their special insulation and I got the special coating that keeps the house cool or hot whatever the goal your trying to get. Almost immediately I saw great stability in my temperatures. Without me even really touching the thermostat it seemed to keep the temperatures I wanted at ease. Most definitely it appeared that my central air is more efficient. In fact, my bill instantly dropped $43 and it wasn't even a full month in use. They have fair pricing and honestly the process pays for itself. I would recommend them to anybody willing to make an upgrade on their house. American Eagle has done an outstanding job in helping us to remodel our home and bring it into the present. Our home was built in 1972 and had not been updated in any way until now. American Eagle replaced our windows with double pane glass, replaced our insulation with 18" and this has reduced our electric bill from $300.00- $400.0 a month to $100.00 - $200.00 a month. We anticipate an even lower bill with the current job that they have done in replacing the old wood siding with Mastic Insulated Home Siding. The house looks like it was just built instead of 45 years old. We would recommend American Eagle to any home owner who wants to upgrade and be proud of their property, they should use American Eagle. The contractors are very professional, courteous and reliable. We are very pleased and happy with American Eagle and we once again recommend American Eagle to anyone who wants an outstanding job done on their home. More...

Ok. Let me start from the beginning. We walked into sams and get asked a few questions, we give our cell and we don’t hear back till a few weeks later. We get told we’ve been selected to receive a discount on new windows, so a rep comes to our house. He does his presentation and etc, explains to us that there’s a discount on 24k worth for 10 windows (1500sq ft house) but they’ll cut that in less than half as long as we let them advertise their sign on our yard for a few months. My husband believed every word of it—i didn’t. But we needed windows anyway so i decided to wait and see what they had to offer. We signed the contract, our percentage is high but that’s due to not very good credit. The actual window installation went well, everything was left immaculate and clean, and the installers were really nice. Now, why I’m giving them 5 stars is because thanks to these windows i Can no longer hear my psychotic, old, crazy neighbor!!! Thank heavens because this woman has been a pain in the arse for years. In fact today the cops came by due to a disturbance between her and her niece next door to her, and i didn’t hear a thing. Wow! What a blessing and a gift my husband gave me— the gift of quiet and peace. I used to hear everything outside and now I’m oblivious to the mess our neighbors are. I think it was allworth it. I had my old single pane windows replaced new ene and rgy efficient vinyl windows. It has updated my exterior and cut off all the exterior noise. My a/c runs less and it seems to cool a lot faster. I wanted to take the time out to thank American Homebuilders for your continued dedicated wonderful service. I had been looking to replace my windows now for about 6 months. I previously spoke with another company and just did not feel that they were genuinely concerned about my needs and wants but more on a sale. I spoke with the gentleman that came to my house and he wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with my choices and that I was satisfied with my budget. He was able to tell me how the process would go from the beginning to the end and who to talk to should I have any problems or concerns. To say the least he was very knowledgeable. I then had the pleasure of meeting the gentleman that works in finance. He was able to come to my home and get all the documents that was needed to get me financed. I was so excited that he was able to get me financed at an amount lower than originally planned. Prior to leaving he reminded me of the next step and the person that would contact me next in the process. The next step was to get my windows measured and made. Mike came out measured my windows and locked by gate on the way out as I had requested him to do. Mike was so fast and precise he was in and out in no time. Mike told me that it would take about 30 days to get the windows made and installed soon thereafter. American Homebuilders was able to get the windows made and installed in less than 30 days. The install took less than a day. The guys worked diligently the whole time they were here. They allowed me to pick a comfortable place for me to be while I did some studying and they worked. They kept me informed every step of the way. They cleaned up as they went and were very polite. But the star of the show are the windows themselves. I live on a busy street in between two neighbors with dogs. The one on the left have small dogs and I rarely hear them but the one on the right has big dogs. Prior to having the windows installed it was as if these dogs were in my on backyard especially at night when I would be trying to sleep. Since I had the windows installed the total outside noise has that I hear inside my house has decreased I would say at least by 60%. The dogs now sound far off and the traffic noise is almost none existent. I can not wait to see the difference that it will make in my electric bill. I know that it will have an impact because if noise is no longer getting in neither are outside elements. I am so happy that I choose American Homebuilders to install my new windows. Wow, can’t say enough about the professionalism of these people. From the sales, to the installation team and the owner-first class. We met with sales person, learned everything about the product of the windows and asked questions. Measurements where taken, quote given and payment options explained. Few days later official measurements taken and where told it would take about 30 days since they are custom made. If was a little less than 30 days when we received the call to schedule installation. The installation team arrive 30 minutes early and jumped right in. They did everything from moving furniture (although we did a lot before they got here, just because I wanted to put other breakable items out of the way), covered everything with plastic tarps, and covered floors. The team of 3 worked their way around the house with removing, installing, caulking and cleaning. It was unbelievable how well their system was. I took advantage of doing some “extra” cleaning of my baseboards while stuff was moved before they moved everything back. Seriously these guys are amazing! The owner even stopped by twice to check the progress and introduce himself. That personal touch tells you how committed they are to customer service. Once done, we noticed immediately the noise reduction in the house and the temperature. The windows on our house where the original ones from the late 70’s-early 80’s. I cannot wait for the lovely spring temps so that we can actually open the windows and enjoy the lovely breezes. Do not hesitate, call them today!!! More...

My son has asked for their number! They even managed to retain the Tudor effect on the siding. But my favorite is definitely the new windows! Love that we can now enjoy a breeze without worrying about pets tearing up the screens since we can now open the windows from the top! SO HAPPY with the job they did. I love my new windows!! I have not been able to open or use several of the original windows in years! They were hard to open and some impossible to close. I used to keep the shades closed to keep the house warm or cooler depending on the season. My new windows open and close so smoothly, they don’t let the cold or the hot in, they have security feautues and they keep the noise out as well! American Eagle installed 9 windows a few years back and now we've had them back to do our siding and WOW, just WOW, our house looks awesome! They have been honest with their estimates, kept us informed on their schedules, rain delay, and completions. Clean polite workers. The windows are wonderful! Changed the house completely.
