I really wanted to like this place after all the great reviews but I unfortunately wasn't impressed. I showed up early, around 7:15am, and there were not a lot of customers there yet. I needed to quickly get in and get out to get to a meeting I had. I ordered a smoothie and a bagel with cream cheese, nothing fancy. The smoothie came out pretty quickly and was ok, nothing special. After waiting for 15 minutes for my bagel, though, I had to leave without it. During a warm, sunny May afternoon my dear wife & I found this oasis.  My dearest enjoyed a vanilla frozen frappe & I had a most excellent chicolate frozen frappe.  These were teo of the best frozen espresso drinks we have ever had.  The young people who made our orders were very nice.  Such a treat to visit this establishment. I ordered 2 drinks just in case I didn't like the one I ordered and I'm glad I did! I ordered the chai with coconut milk and I think possibly the milk was bad. .. it tasted horrid and sour! Exceptional, freshly roasted and delicious coffee.  Right in the center of the downtown historic shopping are, Amelia Island Coffee shop seemed to always be hopping. We stopped in for breakfast and found an enjoyable spot too. The owner is present, hands on, I like that. What a great experience we had here! We were on vacation on Amelia Island and wanted coffee and breakfast. This was the ticket. Good food, good coffee and quiet atmosphere. We ordered the breakfast quesadilla. I had mine with ham and Swiss, my husband had his with bacon, onion and peppers. They were huge! We could have shared one. Since their recent change in ownership they've cut back and stopped serving a lot of their staple foods after 1pm. So, If you're looking for a true cafe experience this place isn't it. Initially put off by seeing 5 employees behind the counter and having none of them approach us to take our order. Obviously someone did ultimately take our order and the taste of the latte made up for the lack of attention, the moderate price helped to lessen that pain as well. My husband says his espresso was ok, I say it was definitely priced right. I noticed lots of sweets to indulge in, though we did not. Before heading to Jacksonville to see friends, I stopped by Amelia Island Coffee for a Hot Chai Tea Latte. This coffee shop serves coffee, espresso, tea, smoothies, blue bell ice cream, baked goods, and simple breakfast/lunch items. While standing in line to place an order, I noticed that they also sell bags of Amelia Island Coffee and Amelia Toffee as well as homemade flavored syrups and pure raw honey. They had two cashiers - one that took cash and card and one that only took cards. It looked like a great place to work, relax, or meet with friends/family as the indoor/outdoor seating looked pretty comfy. Amelia Island Coffee Shop: - 6.5/10 - Amelia Island, FL - echoing atmosphere not too good, odor of something not great but not overwhelming, kind of run down but in a vibey way, my latte was pretty solid tbh and i did feel that the people were quite nice but idk not too spectacular, location is good and the people were nice, but they had SO many outlets which i appreciated for sure

First timer. Walked in, short line. Cashier was sweet and patient as we inquired about the various coffees. We opted to split a Garden Bagel and they offered to make both sides the same. Amelia Island Coffee is located in the center of historic Downtown Fernandina. I saw it was open while on my morning stroll and decided to pop in for a coffee to go. It's a large coffee shop with high ceilings, exposed brickwork and plenty of seating. I ordered the vanilla latte and it was ready in a snap. Very fast and efficient service. Normally an okay place but today I was enjoying my food when a group of people came into the place bringing in their two dogs.  They had no regard for others. The dogs were barking loudly. I just have a problem eating in a place that allows dogs inside. The staff did not say anything. The group continued to stay inside with their full grown dogs. Cool little coffee shop in the center of historic Amelia Island that has been around for 20 years. I was needing a coffee fix while strolling downtown and came across this place. It's pretty spacious and located right on Centre St. They make all your basic coffee and tea drinks here. For food they have breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream and baked goods. I enjoyed an Iced Cafe Caramel and a cupcake for my first visit here. You can also purchase full bags of Nuanz coffee beans here. Nuanz is a family-owned roaster in Yulee.
