Sharon and Artis were really wonderful to work with!! Sharon was extremely friendly and willing to work with me. I showed her photos of bouquets and flowers I liked and she was willing to pull everything together into the final look I imagined. She went above and beyond, even helping me brainstorm center piece ideas. They delivered our flowers on time, with no issues. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous!! They were a great florist to work with for my wedding. We had never used them before, or heard of them even. But we were at a bridal show and got an advertisement for a free groom's boutonniere and free toss bouquet. We went and had a sit down with them, told them everything we would want at our wedding, they went and came up with a price list that was much higher then what we wanted to spend. We told them what our price range was, and they were able to adjust what I wanted to get us closer to that price, but still have the flowers be exactly how I wanted them. I LOVE Ambati Flowers. I wanted to send a birthday bouquet to my daughter who attends college at Western Michigan University.  Since we don't live in Michigan, I had to Google local Kalamazoo florists and thankfully I found the perfect one! I have used Ambati florists for years, and everything they have ever done has been wonderful. They did my daughter's wedding last weekend, and surpassed even my highest expectations! Ambati did an amazing job.   I am not a huge flower person so when I went in for a bridal consultation I must say they went above and beyond.   The florist showed me what each flowers were, what she was thinking, put them together so I had an idea of what it would look like. My first meeting with Sharon from Ambati Flowers was long and detailed and she always showed me a photo when she was talking about flowers I hadn't heard of before. From minute one on I had the impression she was really listening to my wishes. Every time I came in the shop in the following months, she always took her time to answer my questions. On my wedding day she sent me an extra flower for my hair that I had forgotten to pick up. That is what you want your vendor to do: Think for you when you're too busy or stressed out!

I live is Oregon and today is my sister-in-laws birthday. Looking on-line and not being able to pick out flowers in person made me a little nervous but I just decided to go for it. I ordered some flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend who works at Stryker, and asked for something that looked a little tropical since she is from Hawaii. The person on the phone was very helpful. Unfortunately they delivered to a different Stryker building across town and she had to go pick them up.I emailed them and told them what happened. The owner replied in a couple of hours and apologized and waived the delivery charge.It all worked out and the flowers were very pretty. More...

I chose Ambati Flowers because they seemed genuinely interested in my happiness and what I wanted for my wedding. I worked with Sharon who is absolutely awesome! We sat down a couple times and talked about my vision for my flowers and looked at pictures of things I liked. I have to admit, I was kind of a flower idiot when it came to what different kinds of flowers looked like, but Sharon was very patient and showed me pictures of what she was talking about or would pull something from the flowers they had on site. I loved this place. I looked all around at the various florists in Kalamazoo/Portage area, and couldn't decide. Then a friend of mine recommended Ambati, and they did a terrific job. I wanted to use peacock feathers in the arrangements, and with the other flowers. I was a bit unsure how everything would look, but they were incredible, and I loved them!!! I used this florist because a friend used them for her wedding and I thought the flowers were gorgeous and the colors were very vibrant. The price was a little high but I definately put them in the "you get what you pay for" catagory. The only issue I had was I didnt like the finished product for the flower girls hair piece when I stopped by to pick it up on the way to the hair salon buy Ambati was willing to tear it apart and remake it to my satisfaction while I waited. The team at Ambati Flowers far exceeded my expectations. I had some special requests because we were having a Scottish wedding and they really nailed the look I was going for! We had an antique family car in the wedding and Sharon took the time to research our car model on the internet so she could see exactly how she would attach a garland. The flowers themselves were so fresh and the decorations really held together well. Ambati was so dependable and their communication with us before the wedding was superb.
