I just completed an incredible 2 week guided tour of Egypt with Amazing Global Travel. What an experience!! Everything was organized exceptionally well - flights, meals, accommodations, activities. The activities included visiting the Pyramids and Sphinx (including a camel ride between them), the Cairo Museum, an early morning hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings, 5-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, visiting Karnak and Luxor Temples, visiting Philae Temple in Aswan. spending two nights on a Nubian island between the upper and lower Aswan dams, swimming in salt and thermal pools at the Siwa Oasis, and frolicking up and over beautiful sand dunes in a Toyota LandCruiser in the Sahara desert. Each of these activities was a story in itself.But what really stood out to me about this trip was the friendliness of the Egyptian people and the lengths that Ahmed and Amazing Global Travel went to to insure that our trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everywhere we went Ahmed provided background knowledge so that we could really understand what we were looking at. When you're walking amongst spectacular settings thousands of years old it's easy to get overwhelmed. But the information Ahmed and his crew provided really helped put things in context for me. Ahmed also took us to local markets and stores so that we could interact with Egyptian people. Virtually every time I said hello to someone, their face lit up in a big smile and greeted me with a warm "welcome to Egypt".I have to admit that I wasn't sure what the reception would be traveling as an American to Egypt. But all of my trepidations were quickly laid to rest as I and the rest of our group were treated with great warmth and friendliness. What an outstanding trip to Egypt I just had. Amazing Global Travel and Barbara Lee of Extended Grace put together a 2 week adventure that included all the usual Egyptian offerings (pyramids, temples, camel ride, hot air balloon ride, Aswan, a visit to the Siwa Oasis plus so much more). They introduced me to the proud people of Egypt and the history of the kings and pharaohs. We learned about their faith as we sailed down the Nile, stopping often along the way, and arriving at Aswan,we spent 2 nights in a Nubian village where we met a wonderful community of people who shared their food, their home and the stories of their lives. Then we returned to Cairo and sped off into the desert to meet the Bedouin people of Siwa. I never imagined the Egyptian desert would have so much to offer. This was truly a unique experience done with class. Amazing Global Travel always did their best to ensure our comfort, our enjoyment and our safety. Since the arrival to Cairo everything was so smooth and easy that we always feel at home. Our guide in Cairo, Nasser, was eager to answer our questions or attend our needs.Special details such as our hotel rooms at Cairo were carefully selected and other extra activities like for instance the entrances to a belly dance show in our last night made our tour memorable.We took the tour in Spanish, our mother language, and both guides Nasser in Cairo and Osama during the cruise, spoke it very well. Ahmed organized our private tour in Egypt (Cairo and Luxury Cruise), we had an excellent experience. We did a 7 days trip in Egypt, we had one guide in Cairo and another one in the cruise (from Luxor until Asuan). Osama, our guide in the cruise did and excellent job. Ahmed organized all trip details: local flights, cruise, guides, transfers, etc. Everything was perfectly organized and everybody take care of us at all moment.Some people informed us that some cruise vessels are old, but we have to say, that our vessel selected by Ahmed was the best and the most luxury, we have enjoyed a lot and we would like to be more days. Additionally, Ahmed always answered our questions really fast and with all clarifications needed before the trip, he also have taken care about us during all the trip.It has been an excellence experience and for sire we will come back in the near future.We strongly recommend this agency to organize a trip in Egypt. wow, Wow, WOW, WOOOWW!!!! I thought this was going to be a simple trip. An item on my wife's bucket list. It turned into a vacation of a lifetime. I feel guilty not writing up a review sooner but I was so massively overwhelmed I've found it hard to put it into words. We experienced First Class Luxury hotels in Luxor and Cairo. We enjoyed private tours everywhere we went. Just the wife and I and our awesome guide, Ahmed Nagi. We felt pampered and relaxed as we made our way down the Nile river on a 5-Star Cruise ship. The Sonesta St. George included elegantly prepared meals, nightly entertainment, a pool, full Spa, and even tea time on the sundeck in the afternoon. The early morning hot air balloon ride was exciting and breathtaking as we gently soared over the Valley of the Kings, the Temples of Karnak and Luxor, the beautiful Nile river, and finally touching down in the lush green farmland that surrounds the Nile. A relaxing carriage ride through the streets and outdoor markets of Luxor. Ahmed's extensive knowledge of Egypt and its 5000+ year history made our daily excursions to the tombs and temples fun and informative. We went in the first 8 days of July so it was hot (108 F/42 C most days), but being from central California it was just like being home. We never went thirsty, Ahmed always had something to drink so hydration was never an issue. I can now say that my reservations and fear of Egypt were completely unfounded. Our contact, Ahmed #2, who met us at the airport in Cairo when we first arrived, and our day guide Saleh, who took us to see Abu Simbel on our last day in Aswan, were also wonderful. On a personal note, our guide, Ahmed Nagi was absolutely the best. When our Luggage didn’t show up in Cairo he was tireless in making sure that our bags got to us. In the mean time he took us to dinner at his own home in Luxor. His lovely and thoughtful wife (unbeknownst to him) had bought an outfit for my wife. It was perfect. Just what my wife needed at that moment. (we all know what its like when our lady is not happy) The bags got to us a day and a half later. Everything was there and the entire trip was a success. Ahmed was most generous and kind, and I consider it an honor to now call him a friend. He was so willing to change things up when conditions changed or we wanted to do something special. I contacted the agency by mail and whatsapp and Ahmed's response (his owner) was always quick and very close to what I expected, which gave me a lot of confidence in hiring him for my private tours in Cairo and to hire the luxury cruise in Luxor The guides assigned were very professional and with much knowledge in Egyptology, what made our days very pleasant, I highlight our guide Osama on the cruise, he was more than I expected. We decided to celebrate our 11th marriage anniversary in Egypt. I contacted 2 tour companies, based on online reviews. Mohd Ahmed of Amazing Global Travel responded within minutes and by the time the other company responded I had already exchanged half a dozen emails and itinerary with Mr Ahmed. The other company was cheaper but I decided to go with Amazing Global because his communication speed was just excellent. Mr Ahmed was flexible, honest and accommodating. He included all places that I asked for and MUCH MORE. Our guide was Mahmoud and he was with us from the time we landed in Cairo till the time of our departure. (10days).We traveled with our 6 year old who has nut allergies, and Mr Ahmed, Mahmoud and all the staff in the 4 night Nile cruise took great care of her. We are so impressed with the communication and services of ALL the staff members of Amazing Global Travel. We visited so many cities, so had to constantly change airports and modes of transportation. Mahmoud was always punctual and all staff members who came to pick and drop us off were punctual, courteous and made our journey smooth. Above all, they made us feel so safe. We never stood in lines or never waited at any place, everything was taken care, like tickets, horse carriage, numerous boat rides and the Nile cruise. We got the pyramid view room in Giza, best table to dine in cruise. On our anniversary day, the cruise had a special cake for us and special Egyptian song. While in Aswan, I wanted to add Nubian Village tour. One call to Mr Ahmed and he added it to our package. Our daughter enjoyed thoroughly. I m so glad I picked up Amazing Global travel. Ahmed Nagy and the company made our trip in Egypt unforgettable. It was a family trip for 8 of us and we were well provided for. The company arranged everything - from the cruise (Aswan-Luxor), meals, transportation, a guide (Ahmed), additional excursions (boat ride and Abu Simbel) to even shopping trips. Ahmed was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about his work, and very attentive. The way Ahmed explained everything at all the sites was entertaining, engaging and really draws you into the culture and history (even my 12 year old cousin who bores easily was riled up and captivated!). I've been on other guided tours before and to be honest, didn't find them necessary -- until this trip. I know we wouldn't have learned as much or enjoyed the trip as much if we didn't have such a wonderful guide. Ahmed is the key difference that sets this company apart from the rest. It's like having a local friend bring you around versus just going off by yourself with a guidebook. Ahmed just made the experience significantly richer by offering his expertise and insight. Ahmed even helped us arrange trips in Cairo and Alexandria with another guide, Radwa, who was equally great. Ahmed and Radwa were charming, funny, smart, knowledgeable and caring. They were both also very open and helpful in customizing the trips to our needs/wants. We would definitely take another trip with Ahmed and his company and highly recommend their services! Oh and btw: despite safety warnings for Egypt, we didn't find ourselves in fear of any danger, especially within the tour group and with Ahmed/Radwa guiding us. They were aware of these concerns and put everyone at ease. Personally, I didn't feel a difference in terms of safety in Egypt or any other place I've visited (including South America, Mexico, Asia and Western Europe) or from home (NYC) - just be aware of your surroundings (like anywhere else) and you'll have an amazing time! Wow! Estuvimos visitando Luxor con esta empresa y qué decir... Primero visitamos la belleza de Dendera con Mohamed y al caer la noche, Islam, el guía, nos llevó al festival de luces y sonidos en el templo de Karnak. A la mañana siguiente, Ahmed (jefe) nos mostró el esplendor del Valle de los reyes, y el templo de Hatshepsut explicándonos todo con sumo detalle. Para finalizar Luxor nos embarcaron en el crucero Amwaj Living Stone de dos días por el Nilo hasta Aswan, siendo Ahmed nuestro guía para esta travesía. En el crucero visitamos el Templo de Edfu, Kom Ombo, un templo lleno de energía y finalizamos el día con una rica cena y una fiesta egipcia abordo.En Aswan visitamos el Big dam, por donde pasa el río Nilo y comienza el Lago Nasser; así terminamos la visita en el Templo de Philae.Paramos allí por un día para ir a visitar Abu Simbel y descansar un poco antes de dirigirnos a Hurghada.A destacar: Es una empresa que siempre se preocupa de que te sientas cómodo en todo momento ofreciéndote los mejores guías que puedas tener en Egipto. We were visiting Luxor with this Company and What can I say…Firstly we visited the beautiful of Dendera with Mohamed (guide) and at night, Islam (guide), took us to see the Light and Sound Festival in Karnak.At the next morning, Ahmed (chief) showed us the splendour of Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut temple, explaining everything with great detail.To finish Luxor, we embarked in the cruise Amwaj Living Stone for two days in Nilo river to Aswan. Ahmed was our guide for this journey. During the cruise we visited Edfu temple, Kom Ombo, a temple full of energy and finish our journey with a delicious dinner and an Egiptian party on board.In Aswan we visited the Big Dam, thought which the Nile river and stars Nasser Lake;And so we finished the visit in Philae temple.We stopped there (Aswan) for one night to visit Abu Simbel and rest a bit before to continue our trip to Hurghada.Highlight: This Company always is taking care of you, they want you feel confortable in all moment. I had been to Egypt before and been on a Nile Cruise wonderfully organized by organized by Amazing Global Travel.But there were places I had not seen yet, one being Amarna the capital of the heretic pharao Echnaton and his queen, the famous Nefertiti. Again I chose Amazing Global Travel who praised themselves in conducting tailor made individual tours. I flew to Luxor for a week and was received by Ahmed Nagy, one of the company's owners who took me under his wings. The road to Amarna had only recently been opened in the aftermath of the 2011 uprising. Ahmed had been a little dubious about the road trip, but it turned out to be wonderful. When we arrived at the ticket booth for the Amarna site the ticket seller told me that I was the first tourist in two years. Ahmed guided me to the tombs and around the ruins of the city. His knowledge about the site and its history was phenomenal and he was extremely helpful and gentle in helping me navigate the difficult terrain. On our way back we briefly stopped in Minya which happened to be Ahmed's home town and I got a taste of Egypt off the beaten path.The rest of the week was spent around Luxor where I visited sites I had not seen during previous visits. Luxor was very well presented by Mohamed (AKA King Tut, or KT). A very nice guide, with lots of knowledge of his tour. Everything was in place at all times, and since we had just little time to go around town, he made sure we visited as many places as possibles, and everything was complete with all the history telling.
