Living nearby the Cetronia Fire Co. social hall, I have experienced, many times Almost Home Catering's menu items. Â I have never been disappointed with the quality of the items on the menu except last evening. Â Four of us dined there last evening and we all enjoyed our main entrees and appetizers. Â I especially enjoy a good cup/bowl of chili and I order a cup each time I am there but last night I could tell a difference in quality. Â The good chili taste that I've known was missing and I would rate Almost Home Catering's past chili in my top four (in with The Brass Rail, Wert's, etc) but yesterday I was so disappointed that I would not care to order it again. We have a lot of training meetings at our office. Â We've used this Catering Service twice so far and the quality of food has been better than any other place we've ordered from. Â Everything is fresh and flavorful and tastes like it was just made. Â Hot food is served hot and cold food doesn't have that refrigerated flavor we've experienced with other caterers. What’s your signature dish?
Our most requested items are cream of crab soup, bbq spare ribs, hot roast beef and gravy, veggie wraps, bbq bacon wrapped shrimp and our desserts are always a very big hit.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We prefer to talk one on one with our clients and get a feel for exactly what they have pictured for their special event.
What do you love most about your job?
As the owner I love the freedom of having my own business. I enjoy making people happy the most. Food is one of those things that people always remember and we like to help make it a special memory.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted the freedom of owning my own business. Being in control of all the items our clients want and to be able to serve them to MY best ability.
Why should our clients choose you?
We believe in putting the customer and their wants and needs first. Customer service is very important to us. We always use the best ingredients and make as much as we can from scratch. Which I am finding makes us stick out from a lot of the other catering companies in our area.
