I would give Allison Maslan and the Pinnacle Global Network 10 stars out of 5 if I could! Let me paint a picture of where I was and where I am now: in 2018, I was in year 10 of my business. Things were going well. I was bringing in 6 figures, I was managing a few independent contractors, and I had been growing about 20% every year. The thing that I built was working, and I was working hard, but I was somehow simultaneously exhausted and bored. I was looking for that new challenge, but not a different job. This is still my dream job, my company, and my baby. I didn't want to give it up, but I wanted that excitement, energy, and spark that I had when I started my business 10 years ago.So I started looking around online. I didn't really know what a business coach was, and I thought that "mastermind" was a game I played as a kid. But then I found Allison Maslan's site and started by signing up for her email newsletter. I bought her book (which only just proves how brilliant she is) but I wanted the energy of the Pinnacle community so I went to the 3-day January event for business owners. I was so blown away by that event that I ended up joining Pinnacle year-long program.Fast forward two months (yes, just two months). Today, I have an awesome mentor who helps me focus on the next step and holds me accountable; I am part of an incredible mastermind group of business owners who are going through the same things I am going through - even though our businesses could not be more different from each other. I can reach out to the private Facebook group with quick questions or to ask for advice. I attend deep dive online training sessions a couple times a month where members interact and ask questions. Once a month or so Allison herself hosts a Q&A where anyone can ask about a business issue they need help with. The total program is way more than the sum of its parts -- what I described above are the pieces but the net result is that I am energized about my business. I have a big picture vision, a mission, and a clear path ahead of me. It is reflected in the numbers too, even though it's still early, but if I compare Q1 revenues last year vs this year: this year is double. But the renewed energy and community and support that I have now are priceless.If you are reading this and not sure whether Pinnacle is right for you, go listen to some of Allison's videos -- they are easy to find online and if nothing else you'll get some excellent business advice. Or just attend a weekend for business owners. The Pinnacle approach is not about kicking down the competition or working 20 hours a day. We entrepreneurs can be successful and healthy. We can be passionate and dedicated and hard-working and make lots of money but also take weekends off, take vacations, and be friendly with our competitors --- because there is plenty to go around. I am filled with gratitude and inspiration!This time last year, I had just attended another entrepreneurial event and left feeling absolutely gross. The tactics being taught felt totally inauthentic, and the message I heard over and over was essentially that your product/service didn't matter as long as you knew how to build the right funnel and manipulate people the right way.Someone actually said that you could be selling a box of air at the end of your funnel and make a million dollars if you just built the funnel correctly. And while I understand that systems and strategies are important, it's also important to me that I'm providing quality - not something worthless - at the end of my funnel. AMI creates a framework that allows me to work through issues specific to my business with my coach.
