Unlike other personal trainers that I have had he comes prepared with a personalized thought out plan for you and your goals before every work out session, if you choose to do personal training. Richard is the best personal trainer. He is very knowledgeable when it comes-to different people, shapes and sizes and athletes as well as the regular person that wants to lose weight weight or just tone up. I am not a fan of working out but I am thankful for Allgood fitness because they work with me and my limitations. They are the accountability partner you need that encourages you and gives you tips to help you get the work done. Why I signed up for the HIIT class I’m still wondering but it really was really a great decision. Trainer Rich is amazing! He shows you exactly how to do each exercise and is right there to help you along. When struggling with certain exercise as I was, he showed alternate ways that would help me. Yes I fussed, but at the end of the day, I saw positive results which is the goal. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I am a very high energy motivator. I help my clients feel comfortable and relaxed, and I encourage them to take steps to achieve their goals. I let them know that each fitness journey is not a sprint, but a marathon, and that I will be running right along side them to help and encourage them as they reach their goals.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
I believe that it starts with faith and believing that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Mindset is the most important part of achieving any fitness goal. Mental change always comes before physical change!
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people! I eat, drink, and breathe training. I read a book called "The Purpose Driven Life" and it led me to discover what my purpose on this planet was. I discovered that my purpose is training others to become the best they can physically and health-wise.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have trained people pro-bono over the course of a few decades. After becoming an empty-nester, I began to realize that the services I offer are life-changing and can truly help people. Instead of training in a gym, I wanted to open my own business and run it in a way that allows me to connect with my clients under my own philosophies and proven methods.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a fair and honest person. I tell all my clients there is one thing that you can not get back: time. I will give of my time if they are 100% invested, and I will always give 100% of my knowledge and dedication to help them reach their goals.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
No - my methods work best in person. As it pertains to online/remote training, I believe that if someone can cut off or pause the computer, they can pause or cut off a training session. If someone is in my studio, they are not able to do that! We'll push through even when we feel like pausing or quitting!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I wear a mask, practice social distancing, frequently wash hands and utilize hand sanitizer, and have paused group fitness classes in the studio. Until it is safe, my studio allows only 1 on 1 training, with masks and disinfecting of machines and equipment before and after each client.
1 on 1 Training
Personal 1 on 1 training and a workout specific to you. I will help you reach your goals and push you to your limits and then push you some more.

Group H.I.I.T. Training
Training a group of individuals with high intensity training to help burn calories. This training is very intense and is for the people that really want to push themselves to the next level and then I will push some more.
I am not doing group training now because of COVID-19 but will start back up in the spring Outside the gym studio.
Strength Condition Training
Strength & Conditioning used to be a niche environment believed only to be for athletes, but as more people come to understand the many benefits of movement-based fitness; the strength and conditioning market is growing. Methods include plyometrics, speed and agility, mobility, core stability, endurance and weight training and so much more depending on the individual or teams needs!
