ALLEVIATING WHISPERING WATERS DAY SPA

We came in for a bachelorette spa party. Upon arrival, we saw a sign outside welcoming our party and when we opened the door we were pleasantly greeted with another sign and our receptionist. We were brought into the relaxation room where we signed our consent forms online and had her bring back mimosas and champagne as we waited for  our respective services. I got a custom facial by Liz, and was impressed with the overall service. She was very receptive and asked what my skin concerns were. The process was very relaxing  and I loved how my skin felt during and especially after the service. I had microdermabrasion done, and she was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole service. I purchased the serenity package in December 2019 to end the year strong. This included a complimentary a glass of champagne or mimosa (which definitely helped the stress). First off, they have excellent customer service which includes a parking spot (it's limited to two spots and first come, first serve but better then meter parking). I started off with a 1.5 hour hot stone massage which was wonderful and soothing. I fell asleep during it. Then went to another room for a facial which was just as helpful due to my oily skin. Omg! Best kept secret in SD! What a gem! I'm a local and needed a great foot rub and treatment and a massage after a night of dancing! Everyone in downtown area was booked, of course I pick a Saturday! LiZ was able to get me in within 30 minutes of my call! Lily is the best! She did my foot treatment and alleviated a lot of pain and tiredness in my feet! Definitely going back to try the facials. Very reasonable, clean a so very cute! I was visiting from out of town and was on a mission to find a spa that could accommodate my last minute request for a 90 min. massage, 90 min. body scrub (the wet type) and 90 min. facial. The receptionist, Nick, was so very helpful and patient with me as I asked what seemed like a ton of questions about their services. In the end, they were only able to accommodate the massage and the body scrub and I accepted. Upon arriving, Nick stated that luckily, their aesthetician came in and they were able to give me the option of doing a 30 min. facial because he sensed that it was important to me to get that facial in on this visit and he was right. I was pleasantly surprised and greatly appreciative. I got my facial first with Lizbeth, who was so awesome! I have suffered with cystic acne all my life and still do. Ironically, Lizbeth is also an acne specialist and gave me some very important tips on what to use, do, eat, etc. She referred me to a new product that I have never heard of (mandelic serum-made from almonds) that can help to control my cystic acne naturally. The product was also used on me and when she was done, my skin has never glowed so beautifully. I was bummed since 30 minutes goes by real quick when you're relaxing so when I'm back in town, I will certainly be seeing Lizbeth again but for that 90 minute facial-booked ahead of time of course! Worth every penny!At this point, I was hoping that someone would offer me something to drink, water, tea, anything but nothing was offered so I had to ask for some water. Next was my massage, I think her name was Sienna?! I thought the massage was good, I've had better but nonetheless, I fell asleep eventually. When I woke up, she had started on the body scrub. I was confused as I had assumed that the body scrub was going to be done in another room where they wet your skin, do the scrub and then hose down the scrub with a shower head instead of wiping down the scrub using multiple hot towels. Body scrubs back at home (Honolulu) are like this so I should have asked instead of assumed. When everything was done, it was past closing time and Nick was nice enough to come outside and wait with me until my Lyft driver arrived since I didn't feel safe being outside by myself at that time. Went for a massage for my boyfriends birthday. They were able to accommodate us the same day (we planned poorly and came up with the idea for a massage morning of). The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and smelled wonderful. The massage therapists were professional, mindful, and did an amazing job. I would definitely return to this place. I recommend the acne clinic. After investing lots of money in medications like Accutane and different medical and natural skin care systems, AWW' s acne clinic has given me more education about my skin than any dermatologist or esthetician and the results are satisfactory. I am trying products I have never tried before and I am given a specific regimen to follow which I like. The clinic does require 90 days with facials every two weeks, habit changes like switching pillow cases and removing items from your diet, and product purchases. I am very glad that I am seeing results with holistic methods rather than harmful pharmaceuticals and while I feel the clinic is an investment financially, I can still afford it on a retail manager's salary. I receive a warm welcome from Lizbeth she recommended the Rezenerate treatment and it was just what my skin needed, it' s perfect for every time the weather change. I trust her knowledge to take care of my skin. After the treatment my skin felt very hydrated with a healthy glow and looked younger. I feel so comfortable with my skin that I haven't felt the need of wear foundation. Now i receive compliments on my skin and I have to admit my skin looks good lol. I was in town and decided to treat myself to a spa day. I found this spa on Yelp and it had good reviews. Many of the reviews requested Liz for their facial so when I called I requested her.   The facial was great. She used different tools for the skin. It was pretty cool.  Ashley gave me my massage. She did a really good job and paid extra attention to the areas that were bothering me.  I can't wait for my next trip to San Diego. More...

I've been going to this spa for my massages, but I had never tried their facials. I finally went in and tried the ReZENerate facial and boy did I learn a lot about my skin! Not only was the facial very relaxing and completely painless, but Liz took the time to walk me through everything she was doing, and explain to me what each product was and would do to my skin. I realized that I didn't know as much about my skin as I thought I did. Liz explained to me why it is so important to have a skin regimen and recommended a few products to me according to my skin type. I've been following through with the regimen, morning and night (as Liz instructed me to do ;)) and I can definitely feel the difference in my skin. Lizbeth is the most amazing esthetician!! A few months back, my mom sent me a gift card to AWW to get a facial. After my first facial with Lizbeth I saw such amazing results in my skin so I started the Acne Program to clear up my lingering acne. Lizbeth took time to learn about my diet, stress levels, make up products and other lifestyle choices that might be triggering my acne. She gave me a skin regimen to use over the course of 90 days (that I LOVE and will continue using after the Acne Program!). I have been seeing Lizbeth every few weeks for acne maintenance treatments and it is always the highlight of my week! I even have had strangers approach me telling me how glowing my skin is! The front desk staff are always so kind and courteous as well. Lizbeth spends time educating me and answering all my questions that I have for her. This place is still 5 stars in my book! I've been here a few times now and each time I've left relaxed and happy! Liz is my favorite person to go to. I recommend her and this spa to my friends and family. Lizbeth is my go to person ! Super professional and friendly. Every time I walk out I am complemented on my skin. My face feels and looks hydrated for days.  I especially love how she clears my skin of blackheads ! Thank you very much Liz ! Lizbeth does such a great job my husband has even asked me to book him a facial with her.I also can't brag enough about her hands !
