My wife and I booked All Star Entertainment for our wedding reception in Louisville. Throughout the planning process, Nick Curcio was easy to work with and offered us valuable advice. On the day of, the DJ, Giovanni, kept the various parts of the event going smoothly, and our guests had a blast dancing. Finally, ASE was far more affordable than other top-rated DJs listed on the Knot—I’m talking like thousands of dollars more affordable. I have a feeling that Nick is scooping up a ton of business from his regional competitors, and to be honest, he deserves it: the service is top notch at a price that quite literally can’t be beat. We had our wedding on October 5th, 2018 and I cannot say enough great things about Nick Curcio and All Star Entertainment! He did an INCREDIBLE job as my DJ but was super friendly and personable throughout the entire process!I learned about All Star Entertainment from my friend who got married last December. As we were planning our weddings at the same time, she told me I had to check out Nick. I’m so glad I contacted him! They were so fast with communication and molded a service package to fit exactly what I wanted for the best price around! Throughout the entire process, he always answered any questions I had quickly and fully. Meeting him at my friend’s wedding was like meeting a new friend! He’s so friendly it would be impossible not to have a blast when he’s around!A week before our wedding I met with Nick to do a final run-through of our day-of timeline (his “tick tock schedule”) and it was wonderful! He’s just the best. When we met, we took a little time to catch up then dived right in. He made sure he had a list of all our wedding party members and how to pronounce each of their names (which he totally NAILED without any issue the day of), had great ideas on how to have the evening flow (first dance, dinner, etc.) and made sure he was going to have the exact versions of the songs for our special dances we wanted. They day of our wedding he arrived, was super friendly with everyone and all the other vendors, got everything set up, and was ready to go! He was fantastic. I never once had any concern! He kept in communication with me whenever I needed it throughout the night and adapted on the fly to account for us spending more time than we expected making our way through the tables to thank our guests for coming. The MOST important part: Nick truly keeps the party going! He kept our dance floor busy the entire night! He played the EXACT kind of music we asked for (even when I had sent him an email at 3am the night before making last-minute adjustments!) and stayed clear of all the items on our “do not play” list. He doesn’t just hit play and sit there, he kept the energy up and was absolutely amazing. His energy level never dips and he rocks out all night! He helped from the moment of our announced entrance to getting everyone out for our sparkler sendoff. Before we left I gave him a huge hug for making the night so special! With Nick and All Star Entertainment, not only did we have an amazing DJ but I was also lucky enough to make a new friend. Nick Curcio with All Star Entertainment was fantastic to work with. Nick was helpful, patient, and a blast to work with. I knew nothing about organizing or planning our wedding. He made it all seem like a piece of cake. He had great suggestions yet never over shadowed our wants. Nick knew I wanted a Photo Booth, his were already booked, so he proceeded in purchasing another one to make my wedding what I wanted. We booked them for an October date and then we had to change dates because of circumstances out of our control and Nick was very accommodating. All the meetings we had with Nick to talk about set up for what we needed and day of went really well. He said he would get what we needed done and have everything ready for us on our wedding day. The only thing I would say about the services of the actual DJ (who was not Nick) is that we asked for a few things that we didn’t get, like having the DJ let tables go for food, and the DJ had to ask us what song we were supposed to have for certain things, during the actual reception. The photo booth prints out two copies of the photos right away. These were our guests "wedding favors." Nick did a great job at keeping both the ceremony and reception on time. Everyone says that entertainment and food are the most important vendors, so picking a DJ was nerve-racking. I could not have asked for a better DJ than Giovanni. He went above and beyond all expectations and was the perfect DJ for my crowd. I had a party crowd and the dance floor never got empty. People never left and he kept up with them all night. He made sure everything got done, like the toasts and the tosses. He was very accommodating to us. The next day, all of my guests raved about how great Giovanni was at the wedding. They had some odd requests and he rolled with all of them. I couldn't say enough great things about him. After we left, he even helped my dad take down some decor. Just the perfect DJ all around!! Then I hired Nick for our event, and he takes the prize. Our group is not known for being the most extroverted, but Nick took the initiative to recommend and organize games and activities that kept even some of our shyest attendees engaged. July 7th 2018 outdoor wedding. All I can really say is WOW! Nick and his awesome team absolutely went above and beyond. Nick himself took on jobs that were not his, jobs I was paying others big money to perform. He kept me calm and reassured me throughout the day that everything will be great because he was there! Hands down the best DJ's in town!! We had been to several events All Star Entertainment Ky had done so we booked them for our wedding and they did not disappoint! ! Having Nick on the mic and Chuck and Taylor on the music they all kept the party going all night!! We had amazing music accompanied by their great personalities. From the very beginning, All Star Entertainment and Nick were easy to work with. He took the time to explain the pricing and learn about the venue. He also met with the bride and groom to get an idea of what they were looking for to make their special day stress free! He arrived on time and set up and the guests loved the photo booth and music! OMG...our wedding was an over the top success. We have many traditions in our heritage and Josh was very accomodating. He even handled my drunk uncle hanging out in the DJ booth all night long. Nick was great too!!! He met with us and put together a schedule in which our photographer took more time then they were supposed to (Nick told us that might be the case) but you would never know we were behind schedule as Josh got us caught up and it was not rushed. We were going to book a Mirror Booth but could not rationalize paying twice what Nick charged us... I am so glad we didn't.. The lady attending the booth was great with the kids and was very nice... she handed everyone their pictures with a smile. All Star Entertainment Kentucky was an awesome addition to our wedding! My husband Pete and I are both huge music fans and had very specific ideas about what we wanted to be played/ not played on our big day. Nick happily obliged in making sure that each song played met our approval. The energy was high and fun and Nick has a great emcee voice – he definitely enhanced the experience for our guests! He also made Pete and I feel special and recognized throughout the night. Pete (the technical guy) was happy with Nick’s equipment and set up: the dance floor was well lit, the sound was great, and he even made us a custom projected image! I didn’t think I’d love the fog machine, but I have to say, it really made for some cool ambiance and the photos look super artsy! The photo booth provided was AMAZING! All Star Entertainment (Nick Curcio) is the complete package. We had the wedding and reception all at the same venue. He was our mentor as to planning the days program. From helping us with the music (he can get everything), meaning: Coming down the aisle and back out; the dinner music, the dance music, his suggestions made our selections just flow. Plus as an Emcee (we had some Polish traditions that he facilitated) he was exceptional. He kept everything on track so that all the speeches, prayers, and food delivery just flowed.
