All Occasions DJ Service (AODJS) aka Lindahl Event Services, Owner Isaac Lindahl.
To describe this ‘service’ a few nouns come to mind: con artist, crook, scammer, fraud, deceit.
I booked this company 18 months in advance of my wedding, in good faith from honest reviews and customers that had AODJS BEFORE ownership was passed onto Isaac Lindahl. The business used to have a respectful reputation. As of late-summer / early-fall 2022, this is no longer true.
Not only are the business practices downright shameful, but you will also be habitually lied to and refusal of basic communication. It is highly doubtful that you will get any of what you paid in advance for refunded, even if contract is breached by the owner. Check other client reviews on Google, Better Business Bureau, and wedding webistes, as reviews are turned off on the multiple Facebook pages.
Isaac bailed on being our wedding DJ, less than two weeks before our wedding and had ZERO communication to us. The fill-in DJ contacted us and we were taken aback as we were promised multiple times that Isaac would be there and never heard anything about “staffing issues”.
We are very thankful that a fill-in DJ, someone who no longer worked for AODJS regularly, came and was at our wedding. However, he was set-up for failure from the very beginning, due to the owner Isaac not preparing equipment, failing to deliver certain equipment and the equipment that was there, was not working.
I could write a short essay on all the massive downfalls and completely unprofessional experience we had, but here’s a summary to save us all the hassle.
- No mic stand for our officiant. We used my cousins microphone/speaker for ceremony.
- No speakers in the back of the barn or outside during cocktail hour (as promised by AODJS). Resulting in many guests unable to hear messages or speeches.
- Isaac LIED and stated via email that he downloaded ALL of our ‘first dance’ music, he did not, resulting in all (first dance, mother/son, father/daughter) glitching/cutting out with static noise and eventually being stopped.
- The computer provided by AODJS went into a forced update and the dance was SHUT DOWN, no music for almost 30 minutes.
- We then played our wedding dance OFF MY IPHONE, via my downloaded Spotify playlist, with use of my cousins dongle adapter; as no hook-up was provided either.
- Full Room Uplighting; 3 lights on each side of the barn that holds over 500 people, is not considered ‘full room’ by any standard.
- The lighting for the dance floor we received was comparable to the rotating LED disco ball from Spencer Gifts.
- Our package included slideshow, zero communication on that (but at that point, was the least of my worries).
If you’ve read this far, you can imagine what a nightmare working with Isaac Lindahl was. It didn’t stop there, as he blamed ALL of this (his lack of preparing working equipment and delivering ALL the needed equipment for his ‘service’) on the fill-in DJ and has yet to pay him.
After multiple attempts to speak with and try to settle out of court, I ended up serving Isaac with small claims court case. Afterward we talked and agreed to a settlement amount.
THE LYING AND DECEIT NEVER STOPS. We signed court documents, and I had a glimmer of hope that he would actually pay me in the one week grace period that he suggested and I agreed to. The excuses came pouring in the day the money was due and shocker, no refund has been received.
Needless to say, RUN, run as far away as possible from doing any type of business with Issac Lindahl or anything he is associated with.
Find a DJ that respects their clients, has just the slightest clue of business management, and lastly has the tiniest bit of dignity, and you’ll be in much better hands than we were.

Well it’s been almost 2 months since my wedding and I have not received my refund so I’m done trying to handle this privately.
Isaac deserves to be exposed as the poor businessman he truly is.
I would not give this company a single thought to be hired for a wedding or any special event. I was constantly trying to get into communication with Isaac and would go weeks without a response until I finally asked to drop him as a vendor where he assured me “all these rumors are false” and there are “two sides to every story”. Well when so many other peoples story is the exact same… you would have to be a fool to believe his side.
According to his website if you purchase the slideshow, all you do is send in the pictures and then they will do the rest and send you a preview to sign off on… long story short I sent the photos 3 weeks in advance (they never reached out about them sooner and I was the one asking about what to do to send them in and get this taken care of). I sent them through a website that gave them 7 days to access the download link. Well you can guess what happened… 7 days go by and the link expired. I was notified about this THE DAY BEFORE my wedding. So I had to reorganize and send off the photos. I never received a “preview” or “signed off”.
Uplighting-his website says there will be a discussion about color and design to cater to what I want. Well…there was no discussion about this and when I walked in the lights were pink.
We played music video bingo/trivia. I had discussed this with Isaac MONTHS in advanced. He said he would need to bring extra equipment… well not only did he bring zero extra equipment, he used the venues projector. The DJ didn’t even know it was supposed to be music video bingo until 2 DAYS before. He had never hosted that before and it was clear because it was a complete disaster. Trivia I literally did everything for… I even paid $20 for a Kahoot! membership so my guests could all play along.
I had the bartenders asking me if they should takeover because the DJ was so underprepared. After all this I sent Isaac an email and he said he would talk with the DJ and compensate me for what I wasn’t satisfied with… well it’s been almost 2 months since my wedding and here we are. This used to be a reputable company. I have called around to DJ's in the area and heard from brides who had the same thing happen to them as it did to me. All Occasions is now run by a guy name Isaac, who takes your money and has canceled for numerous people stating that his DJ's all quit and some BS about the workforce. No I called around they all quit because he did not pay them. He breached contract of just about everyone. He canceled our contracted wedding 2.5 weeks before the wedding and stated he could not guarantee replacing the DJ thst was no longer with them, who does that!. He has done this to brides the day of, after collecting their last deposit for their services of a wedding DJ the day prior-and the day of the wedding EMAILs them and does not call and states the DJ canceled or some excuse and that's all no money vack, no care, just that's all. Beware!!!!! There are people and DJ's filing lawsuits against him. He has no problem taking money but not doing the service. When asked to return the money, no one answers the phone and the Voicemail is always full. So sad, this company which was once was a reputable company by Paul, has now become a business that has ruined brides most precious day causing them to panick and worry. This is an unreliable DJ service who sent an email less than 5 hours before my daughter’s wedding reception stating that the DJ would not be coming. They did not and have not responded to phone messages, emails and messenger, nor have they refunded the money for the service that was not delivered! Run from this group. All Occasions DJ Services was absolutely incredible! We had Paul Wilkes as our DJ, and he was so much more than helpful! He kept the crowd very entertained, and knew exactly what was going on the entire day. Also, he had ideas for the dance (including a game) that we would never have thought of. His sound system was perfect, and the microphones worked perfectly for the ceremony and dance. Additionally, he met with us prior to our date to plan a timeline for the day and make sure that our planning sheet that we had submitted online was exactly what we wanted. Paul kept guests entertained for a short period of time while he allowed us to be alone together for a part of the reception to enjoy our day just the two of us. We went with this service because of Paul's enthusiasm and knowledge at our initial meeting with him and we thought the price was extremely fair for the amount of coverage we wanted (4-midnight, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception)
We ended up with his GM, Pat. He was great! Our guests enjoyed his music, the surprise games during the reception, and he was really flexible with our requests and had a lot of good ideas.
The only things we were disappointed with was Paul's communication. I had a hard time getting in contact with him, and he never told us that he was switching us over to Pat. 1 week before our wedding, I finally got ahold of Paul for the first time since our first meeting (9 months earlier) and asked if we needed to meet at all before the wedding, as we hadn't gone over any details. He responded and set up a meeting place and time with us. When we showed up, he was not there. When I ask him where he was, he did not respond. Pat approached us, asking if we were meeting someone and introduced himself. He then told us that he was going to be our DJ, and it all worked out well. We were disappointed with the lack of communication and the way that was handled, but it ended up being a really good fit.

Prompt, professional, courteous, and did a GREAT job getting crowd involved. The only thing we would say could use improvement would be the dated music. We were told that the top forty pop songs would be a given and we wouldn't have to select each song, just any music beyond the top forty. Pat was our DJ from All Occasions DJ Service. He was so helpful throughout the planning process and agreeable to all the last minute changes after our planned events were delayed by our venue (Emerald Ridge Outdoor Weddings) failure to provide the dinner we paid for and guests started leaving.
