I have purchased several guitars and other equipment from All Music over the past 20 years. Their selection is second to none and Guy, the owner, is hands on and extremely fair with prices. Besides that, his expertise on every piece of equipment and virtually all the instruments in his shop is beyond what you are likely to find elsewhere. I brought one of my dad's old acoustic guitars into All Music shortly after he suddenly passed away. Mike V greeted me and I told him I was looking to get some trade in value towards an acoustic guitar more styled for my playing. He's a New Yorker, I'm a Philly guy. We immediately bonded over some guitar playing, good humor, and story telling. He gave me plenty of room and time in the acoustic room, and gave me some great insight regarding the different instruments. He offered me a generous deal, and helped me out every step of the way towards my new guitar. When I came back to pick it up a few days later (one of the great techs at AMI installed a pickup), the guys at AMI happily accepted a donation of a bunch of my dad's music gear, making the general transition much easier. Mike threw in some strings, T shirts, and a Martin hat. I absolutely recommend All Music INC for any music shop needs on Long Island. If give them 6 stars if i could, Adam was really helpful, efficient,prompt and humble and courteous, pleasant.. He gave an honest, above board, accurate description of the guitar and it exceeded expectations. The man drove the guitar to my front door in Queens This saved me the npleasant task of lifting the hard case on rush hour subways,he saved me two tiring trios,lugging that hard case. (most shops will barely even give u train directions, much less come to you) I was overwhelmed by his customer service, Adam didn't try to ask for more $ or haggle, They do business the way I like to, efficiently,and pleasantly.w no hassle. I used to buy effects and strings from a shop that gives u free cookies w each order, but now I'll support All music. this guitar is imaculate, the setup feels better than any strat I've ever played,and I'm 52,playing since I'm 12. I recently picked up a Vintage VS-6 and a Blackstar ID Core stereo 10 from All Music and they are both fantastic. Brian turned me on to both the guitar and the amp. Him and all the staff down at All Music are great to deal with and really know what they are talking about. I had the Vintage set up before I picked it up and they did a great job, the guitar plays beautifully. I've gotten guitars serviced there many times and they always are done right. I recently decided to take up a new instrument that was VERY different from what I've been used to - the ukulele. My wife bought me a well-reviewed instrument online and while fun, it had an issue that would have been caught had we gotten it in person somewhere. While the company worked to rectify the problem, I decided to pay All Music a visit and check out their inventory to see what my options would be if the first couldn't get fixed. Even knowing I probably wouldn't have gotten anything, the team at All Music spent A LOT of time with me, showing me stuff, explaining the intricacies of the different models, different designs, etc. The manager, himself, showed and had me try EVERY SINGLE ONE THEY HAD, from dirt cheap to top of the line. It was a wonderful, no pressure experience, and after being left to noodle with whatever I wanted for about ten minutes, I decided to buy one anyway. The team at All Music is top notch. I recently purchased a new guitar, and had my Ibanez set up. The sales team was not pushy whatsoever, and allowed me the space to try out a variety of guitars from their wide selection. I made a decision after a few really solid recommendations from the staff, and I couldn't be happier. I recently bought a relatively inexpensive 6 string banjo (guitar tuning) at All Music. They gave me the time and consideration you might expect if you were buying an expensive instrument. They are also the only place on Long Island to have a 6 string banjo on set up and ready to try.
