In our Basic Obedience program one of our qualified trainers will work with your dog and your family to solve any behavioral problems or concerns that you may have. If any problems arise during training, we will work on those while we are there. House breaking and problem solving can be added to this program if it is needed at NO extra charge. Just remember you are a part of the training program.

Off Leash obedience programs teach Advanced / Off Leash commands. This is our second course that we offer to fully train your dog for off lead control. You may not desire to walk your dog down the street off lead, but what about dog parks? Social gatherings at your home or someone else's? Wouldn't it be nice to have your dog under full command control no matter where you take them? These are some of the commands that we offer to make that a reality.

Therapy dog is term for any dog that helps bring happiness or comfort to another person. This dog does need special training to accomplish this. We can certainly assist in training your dog to make sure your dog has the necessary skills and training to be able to become a Therapy Dog.

We do recommend that you read up on the AKC CGC requirements and get your dog to at least this level of training before you inquire at Nursing homes or schools or any where else you might want to share the love of your dog.

Training can be at any age but the dog must be trained in Basic Obedience to qualify. We strongly recommend that Off Leash Obedience is completed before we can get into any specialty training. Training can be a long process and not every dog qualifies.

Service Dog and/or PTSD Dog is term for any dog that helps a physically or mentally challenged person. There are many services that a dog can provide. We do not handle all areas of service work but we do handle these types of service work.

Stability or Balance Dog: Helps the handler walk by balancing or acting as a counter balance. Does many of the tasks that the Mobility Assist Dog
Mobility Assist Dog: Pulls a person's wheelchair, carries things in a backpack, picks up things a person drops, opens/closes doors.
PTSD Training

his program is designed to protect you and your family members at home or in a vehicle. Through a series of commands given, your dog will "Turn On" when it is needed and "Turn Off" when the threat is no longer there or the command is given to "Turn Off". The dog should remain in a "Turn Off" mode until the command is given to "Turn On". This is necessary for the dog to be able to remain calm in all settings, but at attention. In order for a family dog to be trained for this service, your dog must be at least one (1) year of age, have a solid temperament and must be both Basic and Advanced Obedience trained. Not all dogs qualify for this type of work; we can always do a courage test at anytime to determine if this is the right job for your dog.

In this stage of protection training your dog will learn to bite on command through a series of commands. Once the "Turn On" command is given, the dog should get aggressive, at this point the warning is given to the intruder and the dog can be released. The dog is taught where and when the bite should happen. Once the impact / bite happens, we will teach your dog to release and "Come to a Heel" and still be on "Alert" but be in a command. This program is designed to protect business personnel or protect property owned by the business. This type of training cannot be used in any in home business or a personal dwelling in a residential area. This program is only for commercial business and their personnel.

If your dog has been already given a county citation then you are required to have your dog to be trained under the Hillsborough County & Companion Animal Bite Prevention.
