I highly recommend Alison Renee photography. She captured the essence of our family during this season of life. Her eye for environmental beauty and her careful composition of each shot created more than just images. The copper-hued bald cypress and still pond at the location reflected the peace of our winter break. Beyond the technical expertise evident in her practice, Alison was exceedingly patient and calmed our insecurities throughout the session. She had a vision and a sensitivity that drove her choices. She was decisive and persistent through the obstacles that the younger family members presented 😅 Lastly, we are so grateful that we could include our 8-month-old puppy. We had the best experience with Alison! I found her on Facebook searching some tags … looking for a St Pete photographer while we were in town visiting family. From the time she took to get to know us and what we were wanting out of the session, to the tips and tricks she gave us throughout the session, she was a DREAM to work with! She captured exactly what we were hoping to capture and more. She was great with our kids, and even helped me pose to look skinnier 🤣🙌🏼🤣. Wish we lived nearby so we could use her again and again. I was searching and searching to find the right photographer for our wedding, which I only had 5 months to plan. In my search I found Alison and immediately noticed a photo she did of a couple at SF city hall, which was where we were getting married. I contacted her and she replied quickly! From the initial contact, I immediately knew she was the photographer for us! Friendly, creative, communicating every step of the way! The day of the wedding she captured every moment, worked with us to make the most beautiful, creative photos and coached us through the vision she was seeing. We just received our photos and it was more than we could ever expect. She did the one thing I was hoping for: that was to be transported back to our special day! Alison is such a talented photographer. She updated my professional headshots and went above and beyond my expectations. In addition to my headshots, she provided me with action shots and “around town shots” for me to use in my marketing campaigns. Prior to our session, Alison had scouted out the locations and had great recommendations on where to shoot, time of day that would work best, and gave me posing pointers. Alison was phenomenal! We did a large family session, I answered the questionnaire she sent before hand and it helped tremendously. When we arrived, she knew all of our names and brought rewards for the baby lol We came from out of town but she made everything perfect! We took pictures the day after our first beach day where two of us were sun burnt and miserable, another busted an ear drum during the plane ride and the baby was teething with an ear infection. I was sorry for her having to deal with us honestly! She was so patient and kind, never once made me feel like she was in a rush! She truly cares that you get good pictures.
