Installed a Great Gatsby themed event here and the space was wonderful! Onsite security, lots of ramps. No Back loading dock but it worked out ok. The space is so open and the brick walls are beautiful. Theres a big stage area and dance floor, a bar, concealed coat check, 2 elevators and wonderful glass ceiling, a balloon drop was hung on the 4th floor. I purchased a dinette and sofa. The dinette arrived on time and in great condition. The factory was delayed in getting the sofa delivered, but the owner made sure to follow up with me promptly and was very apologetic. He even sent me a (brand new) loaner couch while we waited for my actual couch to arrive. When there were more delays at the factory, he sent his son to tell me in person because there were issues with my phone. He was very responsive and went out of his way to make sure I got what I ordered. I would recommend buying here. More...

When they revamped this venue and this building was upgraded and improved upon they gave it some real thought! Last night as my community came together to celebrate a very important nonprofit in the Mission District I couldn't help but think of all the similar events I've been to during the last 25 years and so I've seen just about everything you can think of in San Francisco! But as I looked around I thought to myself they really outdid themselves and this is a great venue for any organization or business looking to gather all of its business Partnerships! The venue has just about every electronic system and enhancement tool you can think. About the only place it becomes somewhat diminished is that the public address system is hampered ever so slightly by the Acoustics! I'm sure there must be some way to override that! There were moments where you could barely make out what the speakers were saying and there were some very important points to be made! They have all the special lighting you're going to want for your festivities and a grand stage! At last night's 44th annual celebration of the Mission Economic Development Agency everyone was wowed. In 1995 we lost a house in SF to a fire. We moved into an Apartment in Pac Hgts and were fortunate enough to have Georgina and Co do the window coverings, my daughters’ room, and some other custom upholstery for us. While the total bill shocked me when it was presented - now some 20 years later, we have redone those same draperies, moved them into four or five different houses over the years, shortened them, lengthened them, and used the almost constantly for 20 plus years - and they still look as good as they day they were made! How she does her magic is beyond me. But she does literally perform magic with fabric and thread. The artistry she puts into every Georgina Rice piece is unimaginable. And the result is the client gets far more than merely their monies worth! They get a drapery or a bed hanging or an upholstered piece that may well be passed on down to their children and beyond perhaps! Amazing! Expensive, and worth every nickel she charges! Trust me. Georgina Rice & Co did an amazing job helping us choose furniture, draperies, rugs etc., for our Historic 1924 Mediterranean home up in the Berkeley Hills. The historic estate had been completely renovated and needed a "good eye" to finish where our architects let off. Georgina and Suresh are the best, we made decisions together as opposed to them choosing for us, we spent a lot of time looking at fabric, furniture, rugs....and in the end we felt that we were totally involved in making the decisions.

Suresh Mirchand and Georgina Rice are tremendously talented, fun and easy to work with. They can accommodate a range of budgets, from quite modest to frankly extravagant. When I first met them, I was just beginning to buy furniture rather than use family hand-me -downs. They helped with some reupholstering and throw pillows made beautifully in their own workshop. As my taste matured and as I began to have a little bigger budget, they have helped remodel several rooms in my house.

They have chosen paint, window treatments, furniture, lighting, rugs and ornaments. Their fabric choices are lovely and the range of fabric available to them is incredible. They have supervised workmen and recommended reliable workers, furniture repairmen and deliverymen.

Their estimates have been accurate. They explain their fee structure clearly and make asking questions easy. They work within budget. They have been as wonderful and professional with very small projects( "I want a new lamp") as with large ones("let's gut the living and dining rooms"). They recognize that a client who is using a designer for the first time may be a little nervous but may become a long-term customer.

My most recent project was an overhaul of a long hallway in a San Francisco flat. They set it up as a gallery for photographs and chose a lovely, large, distressed glass mirror to anchor the space. It made a routine passageway look beautiful, It is as if I've added a room. More...

We retained Georgina Rice & Co primarily to work with our architect and general contractor to remodel and combine two adjoining master baths –his and hers—into a single master bath, and to remodel a third bath into a special place for our young daughter. (Georgina also assisted with the completion of remodels of a powder room, family room and girl’s bedroom after the interior designer engaged for those spaces retired.) Georgina developed a detailed plan of the furnishings, window treatments, finishes, etc. that reflected the general themes in our home, but also gave each room an impressive uniqueness. She drew up a comprehensive budget and held to it – even suggesting some less expensive fixtures after we had approved fixtures that were significantly more expensive. Georgina worked seamlessly with the team and the entire experience was professional and relaxed. When the original remodeling plan encountered a structural impasse, Georgina and the team quickly adjusted the design, incorporated most of the original plan and completed the project on schedule. Georgina and Suresh are fantastic. They listen extremely well, and design for their clients, not for themselves. Their sewing shop produces extraordinarily well-made things (curtains, shades, pillows, slipcovers) and their upholstery work is meticulous. They are both friendly, easy to work with, and incredibly responsive to their client's needs. They can produce work at any budget, and produce beautiful work within your budget.
