Called DAY OF to send flowers to my sis for her birthday, and thinking it would be too late to get there that same day I was pleasantly surprised when an EVER so kind and patient Marilyn assured me "NO PROBLEM" I had seen their website and saw an arrangement that was nice but I wanted a specific flower in it to replace one of the ones pictured on web page. Marilyn put me on brief hold while she checked to see that they had the flower I was requesting and returned to advise me that they had it and it would work beautifully in the arrangement.  While the flowers arrived THAT afternoon and I received a call from my sis, saying that it was a "BEAUTIFUL arrangement" and she went on to say that she had ordered/received flowers from a florist nearer to her home on other occasions and NEVER had the flowers been as FRESH or beautiful as the ones Albert's delivered. Talar was excellent. She responded quickly to all our inquiries and did a good job helping us visualize what our final arrangements would look like beforehand. Then, on the day of, the flowers were beautiful. When our guest count and table arrangement changed, Talar was able to accommodate us. This is the best florist in town! They are a small family run business, so not only do you get to buy beautiful flowers - you feel great about it too! I have come in here for several different occasions and they are always happy to help me pick out the perfect assortment for that occasion. They do have pre-made assortments, but I typically prefer selecting the flowers I want. From there they bundle the flowers together, pretty them up and I'm on my way. The price point can be a little high, but you are paying for quality.Make sure you call ahead for large holidays, but most other times you should have good luck just walking in. Stopped in to grab some flowers for my wife.They have nice bouquets all made up and in vases.I asked about customzing an existing arrangement and was told that was not a problem. I had a vase and said I didn't need one and would prefer it wrapped, and they were happy to oblige.I explained what I was looking for and the lady helped me pick out some other flowers to add to the arrangement.They took it back and made it up, wrapped it, and sprayed it with water to keep it fresh.I grabbed some dark chocolate, a card, and was out the door in under 15 minutes with my custom made, ready-to-go bouquet.My wife loved it and I while it was not cheap, good flowers, fast and friendly service are worth paying for. This is the fourth time I have ordered a floral arrangement to be delivered on my daughter's birthday. She is a graduating senior at Cal Poly so I guess last week will be the last time I will order from this wonderful store. Each bouquet has been so beautiful and this year's was absolutely spectacular! I asked for a few specific types of flowers and I had an idea of what I wanted the arrangement to look like, and I asked for coordinating balloons as well and the whole presentation far exceeded my expectation. The staff at Albert's listened to my ideas and created a work of art! I truly appreciate the effort they put into handling the delivery instructions as well. I had to make a change when my daughter was suddenly called in to work, but the delivery was perfect! These people really care about the people they're creating gifts for. I live in Oregon and needed to send something for my son's birthday. Albert's Florist was very easy to use online and more importantly they delivered the morning of the designated day and then sent a confirmation email. I have always hated using 800Flowers and those companies because they are never reliable and never send what I've paid for. Albert's pricing was great and they immediately took away the "I hope they do what I paid them to do" worry! I will only use them from now on, I just wish they were nation wide! The flowers were amazing. GORGEOUS!! We had a destination wedding in San Luis Obispo. They delivered the flowers right to the venue. Found the wedding event person there and that was not easy to find. All the bouquets were in their own individual vases with water which was wonderfully unexpected. My husband and I looked around, went into stores, and made a ton of calls. This place was the best price and worth way more than the other places had to offer. My wife is visiting Los Osos while I stay behind in Florida and I wanted to say, "hello, I Love You".We have always had Flower Gardens and so we are very specific when it comes to the images posted online and what is actually delivered. I was assured by the staff that what was online was to be what was delivered. When my wife sent me a picture of the flowers, I was, like WOW! The same flowers I had ordered based on the website image were sitting on her the coffee table! Our son and his bride live down south and the wedding was held where we live in Avila Beach, so a lot of preparations
had to be done long distance and by me, the mother. But all of us feel so fortunate to have found Albert's Florist for the wedding and we cannot say enough good things about the experience: the flower arrangements and flower set ups were absolutely beautiful -- people who were there still talk about it - and exactly what the bride had envisioned and hoped it would be.
The friendliness of the Albert family and staff and their accommodating flexibility was amazing. The service was prompt, efficient, professional and personal as well. I always use Alberts for a special occasion or for a somber occasion. Most recently I used their services when I lost my sister in law. They did an amazing job with the floral arrangements. Something you don't want to have to worry about and stress over when you lose a loved one, and you can be sure they'll make it look nice, classy and deliver it on time. We recently ordered birthday flowers for our mom from Albert’s, I needed to take the time to sing their praises because we could not have been happier with her arrangement! We ordered the flowers in the keepsake China teapot (what an amazing idea! It’s the gift that continues giving!!) She said it was “the most beautiful bouquet she had ever received”! How rare it is when a product actually exceeds the way it looks in the order picture! We ordered online from Colorado, and every step was smooth sailing. I waited too long to find a florist when I was planning my wedding (don't be like me!) but I am so glad I found Albert's Florist because my flowers turned out perfect. I had an idea of what I wanted my bouquet and the centerpieces to look like, but I also wanted a flower crown, and I was having a hard time finding a florist who could do all of that on short notice and not charge more than my total wedding budget. Barkev was great and saved the day! He knew exactly what flowers to use and even gave me some options for alternatives. He was so helpful and worked with us to incorporate our collection of vintage glass vases for the centerpieces. I am no longer a resident of San Luis Obispo County, but my husband and I decided to book our wedding reception at the Madonna Inn. I didn't know any florists on the Central Coast, but after doing some research online, was somehow drawn to Albert's Florist. Out of all of the florists that I contacted, Albert's Florist was the only one that met with me personally. I met with Barkev, and we sat down and discussed types of flowers, colors and arrangements. I am not a flower expert and Barkev's knowledge with flowers really helped me decide on which ones I want for my wedding. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous as well as the bridesmaids' bouquets, the men's boutonniere, and the decorations . I didn't want typical wedding flowers and Barkev recommended ones that matched all our outfits so we were cohesive but at the same time the flowers and myself stood out on our own. Barkev at Albert's Florist is a knowledgeable botanist and a true professional. Flowers were not something I wanted to spend a lot of time making decisions about, and Barkev and his wife were able to ask the right questions on our first meetings to be able to create the perfect arrangements for us. He is kind, meticulous, and most importantly on our wedding day delivered the most gorgeous presentations. AMAZING FLORIST! After screening about 20 local florists’ websites to compare bouquets, I made an appointment at Albert’s Florist. The photos on the website were absolutely beautiful, and the in-store flowers and bouquets were true to form. I met with the owner, who helped me put together my dream bridal bouquet. I had an idea of what I wanted, and his knowledge and input made it better than I had imagined. In less than one hour, he helped me order the bouquets and flowers for my wedding. My mother received bouquets on 2 separate occasions delivered to my home. One was for her 85th birthday last year and the second was for Christmas this year. These were ordered by different parties. (she was visiting from out of town.)Both of these bouquets were beautiful. Both in nice vases. But the most impressive part was the length of time these bouquets lasted. The birthday bouquet lasted 2 1/2 weeks. The Christmas one....are you ready? Three weeks!!! This bouquet had ROSES in it!!!! (along with carnations and berries and greenery) One rose died at about day 10. the others lasted 3 weeks!!! I was blown away. She left that bouquet with me so I know how long it lasted!!
