We feel SO FORTUNATE to have found Albert; we had quite a stressful experience finding a photographer we liked and trusted as we were getting married abroad. There are not enough words for us to describe Albert; he is simply, AWESOME. He’s a true professional who just blended in seamlessly during our getting ready shots, and he was super quick with our group shots too. A few of our guests actually thought we had 2 photographers as he covered ALL angles of the ceremony and again, he just blended into all the action! He put us at ease during the couple shots, was super helpful at all times, and a true gentleman. I’ve not even talked about the after service yet! He’s VERY efficient so you don’t have to wait long for your photos and if you’re a nice customer you’ll get a few surprises too! We were already super excited that we secured Albert as our wedding photographer but he has honestly delivered above and beyond our expectations. Not only did he capture our wedding beautifully, it’s those emotions, the laughs and special moments that he gets. We cannot thank Albert enough for photographing our wedding in May this year. Albert is extremely professional and personable. He was in close and frequent contact with us in the run up to the day, more so than any of the other vendors, making sure we knew exactly how he would work and ensuring any questions were answered. He also made time to meet us briefly a few months before hand which was very accommodating – this meant we did not feel total strangers on the day which I think is important since your photographer spends the whole day with you and your guests. We have already got our photos (and a little photo video which is SO COOL!) within a month of getting married and we are delighted. Albert has an ability to really capture emotions in his photos, probably because he is like a camera-wielding ninja and you barely notice he is there snapping away. This also means he manages to catch some very special, unique and often funny moments that you may have missed on the day (one of my favourites is probably my dad, the father of the bride, wrapped in a towel post-shower before getting into his suit!). Our pre-wedding shoot experience with Albert was fantastic. We booked him for a full day shoot in London and Cotswolds / Bristol. Albert was always responsive via emails to address our questions and provide suggestions on shoot places as we came from Singapore. He was easygoing and had innovative games to keep us engaged during the shoot. He also kindly offered to drive us around Cotswolds / Bristol area for the shoot, which made it so much easier for us to travel around. In short, Albert is a true professional of his trade. To describe Albert as a photographer does not do him or his work justice. First and foremost, Albert is an artist. His style, creativity and flair resulted in beautiful wedding photographs that we will cherish forever. Albert captured exquisite natural moments that occurred throughout our day and what we really enjoyed was looking at photographs that we weren’t a part of because you can’t be everywhere all of the time. Albert is a true professional. He always responded to emails with haste, he came to our house to share examples of his work and he did an amazing engagement shoot for us so we could get used to being photographed. I love our engagement photos too and feel like they help us tell our story. Albert was always a useful person to ask about all things ‘wedding’ and he organised a second photographer for the day so both of us could have pre-wedding photos. Albert helped to keep our formal shots to a minimum (perfect because gathering people for formal shots is time consuming) and on the day he was discreet, friendly, relaxed and more like one of our guests.We have over 700 photographs of our big day so the hardest part was selecting the right photos for the album. Here again, it is easy to sing Albert’s praises as he worked tirelessly, draft after draft, until the album was perfect. Albert recently did our engagement photos, and I cannot give him enough praise. Not only is he a fantastic photographer who clearly knows what he's doing, but he was also incredibly nice to work with and was extremely flexible with our shoot. Albert is literally the most incredible wedding photographer! He was so friendly and easy to work with in the lead up to the wedding, answering all our endless questions and offering lots of useful hints and tips! On the wedding day itself he felt more like a friend than a photographer. He is so relaxed that it makes everyone around him (including the bride) feel relaxed too which is so lovely especially on the morning of the wedding during the preparations. When we received our wedding photos back around 2 weeks after the wedding we were totally blown away by them! We contacted Albert to photograph our wedding after seeing a gallery from another client of his and simply loving it.Neither of us were keen on having lots of styled or big group photos and Albert's style of photography seemed to match perfectly to what we were after. The process from initial enquiry to receiving our images was flawless. We had a brief chat over the phone to get the ball rolling and any time we would email a query or question he would reply promptly and never made us feel a nuisance, (which I'm sure I was at times!)The booking process was comprehensive and we felt really happy that he had all the information he could possibly need to capture our day as we wished. On the day both photographers arrived on time to our locations and ready to go, not asking for anything more than a glass of water! Albert seemed to almost dissapear as I was getting ready! He became part of the furniture and was completely unobtrusive. This continued throughout the day and at no time did either of us feel our day was broken up by being asked to pose for a photo, he just went with the flow of the day, but equally when we wanted a specific photo taken with guests he would happily oblige - he really was 'at our service'. We had some 'couple' shots taken and Albert's approach was really fun, making us chat to each other in a way that would produce natural smiles and laughter between us, which made for beatiful photos! We didn't feel awkward or embarrassed having these images taken at all, which is testament to him as we aren't 'pro's' infront of the lense! Albert covered an awful lot of the day, he stayed well after the first dance and was just a lovely person to have around to capture our wedding. He has a very nice relaxed vibe which in turn relaxes you. The final images are just amazing - so many moments have been captured which we didn't even think he was there for - he didn't miss a heartbeat of the day - our photos that we have to relive our wedding day are natural, full of genuine emotion and feeling and beautifully shot. Whilst Albert is a personal friend of ours, it would not be right to not let the world know how good this man is. Everything he does from the second he is booked to when you receive your photos smacks of professionalism. He is calm, reassuring and knows his stuff inside out. The photos we had done continue to be praised by our friends and family and his signature move is to have at least one "Wowwwwww!"picture. We were lucky to have 3 and people still ask how they were done. Everything is beautifully presented and he does all you ask of him. Proud to call him a friend and proud to have spent the money on someone so good. Albert was approachable, friendly and understanding from the start. He always replied in a really timely manner, which we really appreciated. He was totally unobtrusive on the day and our guests absolutely loved him – he really captured the intimacy of the day. Albert was amazing. We had some wardrobe malfunction and was drenched in rain amidst the shoot but he managed to salvage it all and gave me photos that are beyond my expectations! he was also easy to work with, quiet and unassuming. ever willing to go the extra mile, he was not concerned with the duration of the shoot and encouraged us to try out new locations and ideas. My wife and I approached Albert to take some couples photos for us after seeing his incredible photos of a friend's wedding -- and we couldn't be happier that we did! After being married for 5 years, we wanted photos that would capture our lives now and we felt like we were walking on Cloud 9 the whole shoot. We did a lot of research into our wedding photographer and with so many options out there it is a daunting task, however once we came across Albert we just couldn't get his photos out of our heads! Since the beginning Albert has been incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. On our wedding day last September he had a lovely natural approach and is not in any way invasive. The photos are SUBERB and document the day beautifully with a lovely mix of natural 'moments,' family photos and portraits of us as the bride and groom - in fact I just can't stop looking at them! We considered a number of photographers before choosing Albert for our wedding day. We were both really impressed by his portfolio – how beautifully he seemed to capture the mood of each day – and by his friendliness and enthusiasm when we spoke to him. Albert is clearly passionate about what he does and this really comes across both when you speak to, and meet him, as well as in his photos. Our engagement shoot with Albert was great. We ended up with some fabulous photos and really appreciated the opportunity to get to know him a little before the wedding day. On the day itself, Albert was fabulous – switching easily between organising the excitable wedding party for our few posed shots, discretely capturing so many wonderful, candid moments throughout the day, and also cleverly choosing a couple of perfectly timed moments to disappear with us for some lovely, relaxed photos. I have been to a number of weddings where the bride and groom seem to disappear for hours for photos – the wonderful thing about Albert was that he ended up with so many fabulous photos, that we will treasure forever, and all done so sensitively and discretely that we didn’t feel that we missed out on any of the fun and celebration with our family and friends. Our engagement shoot in Oxford is now one of the happiest memories of our lives together, thanks to Albert who kept us laughing and having fun the whole time! Albert is not only a wonderful photographer, but an absolute gentleman. From our first contact with him over a year before our wedding, he was kind, courteous and extremely accommodating. He would reply to e-mails (often containing little trivial questions) with almost frightening speed. Nothing was too much trouble, and Albert always had every detail covered.Ahead of our wedding, he made a special effort to get to know us both, to learn more about the ceremony and to identify the special little details of the day that he could bring to life through his photographs. As the day approached, and ideas came to us, he provided constructive and useful advice on a range of topics, all based upon his comprehensive knowledge of both wedding ceremonies/receptions and the photographing of them.On the day itself, Albert just did his thing – moving freely between us and our guests, whilst always being flexible enough to respond to (often spontaneous) requests for photos. It was such pleasure spending the whole day taking photographs with Albert. He made us feel so comfortable while having our photos taken. We hired Albert as our Wedding Photographer back in December 2012. I can honestly say that this was one of the, if not best, decisions we made. We spent a LONG time looking for the perfect wedding photographer, and we are so pleased we found Al! He really took the time to get to know us and what kind of wedding we wanted, and produced some absolutely beautiful photos which are now priceless to us. From the outset Albert was really friendly, and offered lots of sensible advice about how to schedule the photography during the wedding. On the day itself he was extremely unobtrusive but worked so hard all day - which meant he managed to capture some lovely moments we didn't even spot ourselves! Albert's photography has a gorgeous warmth to it - he does do the group shots and official photos (very speedily) but the photos we love the most are the candid emotional ones of us and our guests having a great time. Albert travelled out to the silver coast of Portugal to capture our wedding in an ancient vineyard in Sanguinhal in September 2014. He was wonderfully creative, intelligent, organised and offered an unobtrusive service that was designed to make us feel confident from start to finish. We laughed and cried when we received our photos compiled into a video to music as it was so well done and so unexpected! We both work in visual arts so both hard to please customers! The photography was really important to us as a record but also as a true capture of the real emotions we missed on our whirlwind special day. Albert didn't disappoint and seemed to read our less than organised schedule perfectly capturing the magic light as the weather developed throughout the day. It was not a easy process picking our photographer for our special day as you only get one chance, but we could not have picked better with Albert for our wedding in May 2015. From the beginning Albert was very professional, friendly and a great listener. He was full of ideas and at the same time would work with any of our more unique requests.Before our big day we had an engagement shoot with Albert and he instantly put us at ease in front of the camera, including some games that gave us fantastic natural shots. Later that week we received the engagement shots and were amazed with how they came out, so we instantly knew Albert was definitely the right choice for capturing our wedding.On the day Albert was a true gentleman. He arrived early and blended seamlessly into the atmosphere capturing all the great moments as well as all the little details, yet if you wanted him for a particular photo is he always readily available. We also had a huge amount of compliments from our guests.We received our digital photos less than 3 weeks after our wedding (in a very nicely packaged box with USB stick) and were amazed with the emotion and detail Albert managed to capture. In summary Albert was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with. He really will blend seamlessly into the background capturing all the special moments and details, many of which you barely get to see on the day! Albert was truley an amazing photographer.it was important to both my husband and myself that we chose a photographer who captured the spirit of our wedding, using a reportage style. After recommendations from a friend we met up with Albert and were really captivated by the style of his photo's.Albert was very calm, unobtrusive and flexible throughout the day, all these qualities together really helped me to feel relaxed and calm for all the photo's he took.we have had so many comments since the wedding on how amazing the photo's are, but just as importantly how good Albert was at blending in enabling him to capture the moments during the day that as a bride and groom you sometimes miss.We would both recommend Albert to anyone for their future wedding or engagement. We'd seen Albert in action at a few other weddings, and the products of his hard work, and were convinced he had the right style, and attitude to do our wedding. He didn't disappoint: even before the wedding day, he was very prompt to reply to any queries. He arrived on time, was polite and flexible on the day, and very calm and relaxed throughout. He moves around with such discretion that you hardly notice he's there - one of our groomsmen called him a 'photography ninja'. The shots he captured were very special, natural and precious. Moments that you as the couple would never get to see. We were particularly pleased with his shots after dark, which were far better focused and composed than other wedding photographers we'd seen. He was also very quick with the group shots, but not to the detriment of the final photographs. I would highly recommend Albert's services. Our final set arrived in a beautiful carved box and he takes that level of care with all elements of the service he provides. More...
