I don’t even know where to start. Alanna was suggested by our wedding videographer and has turned into so much more then just our photographer. Her pictures are beyond belief breath taking but they don’t come in comparison with her character. What an easy going photographer she was. I highly recommend Alanna! I was researching wedding photographers and loved her style. She is so easy going and down to earth. She has this calming way about her that makes you feel as if you’re hanging out with one of your best friends. I don’t know where to even begin. From start to finish Alanna was so professional! She photographed the birth of our son and felt like family or an old friend and not someone we just met! She was so helpful when my husband was out of the room during some contractions. She was present and got amazing photos without intruding on our experience. Alanna photographed my wedding and my reception in May. My husband nor I wanted a traditional wedding and he was deploying about a month after our wedding so everything was planned pretty quickly. Alanna was AMAZING. She was so easy to work with, and even helped us plan some details of the wedding. She was willing and able to go along with the unplanned events and stress that sometimes goes along with a wedding all the while keeping a positive attitude, which my husband and I highly appreciated. She was professional, but at the same time she has such a wonderful personality and is such a delight to work with that you feel as if you have your best friend photographing your wedding. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Alanna Volen - She went above and beyond! Alanna was very friendly and made both myself and my husband feel completely comfortable, we laughed almost the entire time. She provided great posing direction while being open to our suggestions and ideas. We both had a blast during the shoot, and are beyond thrilled with the results.
