I had 11 years experience in the security guard industry. I was promoted within 90 days of my first guard job to being an assistant supervisor. After two years of being an assistant supervisor, I hired myself to a job in middle management. I wanted to make the transition into corporate, but hit a glass ceiling. To break the glass ceiling, I started my own company.

Services

Uniformed guard to patrol the property.

Either fixed on a property or a per patrol. Per patrol is cost effective for clients who want the presence, but don't want to pay for a designated guard for their site.

Helps businesses to create policies on mitigating emergencies and resuming normal operations after disasters occur.

External loss prevention focuses on combating theft that comes from customers. An example of customer theft is a customer walking into a store, pocketing an item, and then walking out with the item without paying for the item. External theft can also be in other forms, for example, a customer switching the price tags on an expensive item for the price tag of a cheaper item, or even trying to make a fraudulent return.

Internal loss prevention focuses on combating theft by company employees. Employees can steal in ways like a customer would, for example, pocketing or finding a way of getting company property from the company. Employee theft can also be in other forms, for example, theft of time where an employee clocks in and then sits in the breakroom. While watching employees for different kinds of theft, observed violations of company policy and industry safety standards are also documented and reported. By dividing the surveillance and assigning one group of employees to focus on external theft and one group of employees to focus on internal theft, surveillance can become a teachable skill. The loss prevention agents we assign to your account can learn the required surveillance and interpersonal skills by being assigned to internal theft services first and then move into external theft when they feel comfortable and confident approaching a customer.

This service is similar to internal loss prevention, but with a twist. The security guard on the account will be completely undercover and hired into the client's company like a regular employee. The goal is for as few people in the the client's company to know the service is being performed as possible, preferably only AHG Security Services and the people tasked with briefing us. Once "hired" the security guard will use their interpersonal and investigatory skills to build the case from the inside. Everyone in the location will be watched, not only the suspected employees.

This is a fact-finding service with the goal of determining if a law, regulation, or company policy was broken; and if so, the suggested corrective action. A non-legal formal report that summarizes the results is generated at the end of the inquiry.
