I had my wedding reception in the Burke room in September. I cannot say enough good things about this venue! From the moment we went to see it we knew this is where we wanted to have our reception. The food is AMAZING! Usually you don't hear that about wedding food, but I have had nothing but compliments on our wedding. Lucy is awesome to work with and she will do all she can to make sure your day is prefect! Do your self a favor and check this venue out! You won't be disappointed! If I had to plan a wedding again (never again!) I would keep going back to Ahern's. Thank goodness for word of mouth. Also, if you have anyone with dietary issues/ restrictions Lucy and her team go above and beyond to accommodate to those, even if its making a separate meal just for them! I had a great experience! Unbelievable! Lucy was amazing! She helped me with all my insane bride questions,and made sure I was taken care of at the wedding. We celebrated my parents 50th surprise wedding anniversary here (Aug 1, 2015) and I couldn't be more thrilled with the quality of service and the attentiveness of the staff! Lucy was so great to work with! She was personally invested in ensuring the event went smooth from initial planning through the actual event. I planned this party from out of state and picked out the room from a couple pictures on the website/brochure. The food was spectacular! Our daughter had her reception at Aherns. Pleasant and helpful people. We checked around and this was by far the best. The winter before the wedding they had a open house. Aherns had a huge variety of food for the guests to sample, the food was delicious. Also they had the Wild Flour Bakery from Rocky River, wedding planner and even a photo both. The reception hall we decorated the day before the wedding. The hall was gorgeous and a nice size dance floor. The bartenders did a nice job. There was nothing to complain about. Where to start? Ahern's knocked it out of the park from the get go. When we were looking for a place to have the ceremony and reception Ahern's is the only place we emailed that responded to us with what we asked for information wise and the response was quick! Once we booked with them, they stayed in touch for any and all questions we had, they made the entire process so easy for us. Lucy was fabulous throughout the entire process as well.
