Amandarose did my proposal photoshoot @the Carmel Valley Ranch. It turned out to be perfect because her studio happened to be right across the street from the Ranch. She was super friendly and easy to work with. She was very familiar with the ranch so she knew all the hot spots and drove us everywhere to capture beautiful pics. This was our first photoshoot and she made it really natural and comfortable for us. We even had two little doggies with us and she managed them while capturing lovely pics- she was a super woman that day for us. We worked with Amandarose for our wedding and she was seriously perfect in every way. We were planning our small Carmel wedding from NYC but she made it seamless by sending us information over email and scheduling phone calls so we were ready when the big day came. Not only was she super organized and friendly, the best part was how experienced she was during the wedding day. Amandarose was fabulous for our wedding day photography. She captured all the details, important people, portraits, special moments and overall story of the day so beautifully. One of the best things about working w/ Amandarose is how comfortable she makes you feel! Since it is your wedding day and there are a number of intimate shots (ex: first look), you want a photographer who celebrates these moments with you but also makes you forget you are even being photographed to get the real-deal. We booked our engagement and wedding photos with Amanda after spending an afternoon in her studio looking over her portfolio and getting to know her. Amanda was always available for any questions, concerns , and there to calm my pre wedding jitters about missing any of those important little details. Posing for photos can feel a little awkward at first to get that perfect shot, but Amanda puts you at ease showing you how to make it look natural and makes it fun at the same time. By the time our wedding date arrived , it felt like we had known Amanda for years ( and we were professional posers at that point thanks to Amanda's expertise). We love Amandarose! My husband and I got married last month and were introduced to Amandarose through our local wedding planner in Carmel. As someone not quite comfortable in front of the camera, she made it super fun, relaxed and stress free (much appreciated on the wedding day especially)! Amandarose is fantastic. I recently had a family session with her and I am so happy with the photos. She went above and beyond to get my one year old daughter to smile and cooperate for the photos (which trust me isn't easy). As a wedding planner in Monterey I am so glad that I got to experience a session with Amandarose for myself because I would absolutely recommend her to couples for their wedding day. AGS Photo Art is such a great group of photographers. I had the pleasure of working with both Amandarose and Genevieve and they were both extremely professional and accommodating. We asked Genevieve to attend a spartan race with us to help take photos and the pictures came out so well! She was able to capture a lot of action shots as well a beautiful group shots.My expectations weren't very high because photographers often struggle to capture photos of such a large race without having people stationed out in different areas, but she was able to do it all!I definitely will be using them again. Do keep in mind that it takes them about a week and a half to process photos so if you need them at an expedited rate, you may want to talk it out beforehand. More...

Amandarose and Justin are THE best! I originally found Amandarose on Instagram and loved her photos! I'm probably missing out on all the technical terms, but her photos capture this beautiful natural light and make everything classic, lovely, and the style is so perfect for California, especially Monterey. I felt so comfortable and excited about our wedding around her - she did our engagement, Indian pre-wedding celebration (Sangeet), my boudoir photos, and our wedding day, and she was by far our favorite person to work with! There is not much to be said other than, absolutely book Amandarose! From the very first meeting over tacos and Coronas, we knew that she was going to be our photographer.
Her personal touches shone through every time we met or spoke with her via phone, email or in-person. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she was 3 steps ahead of us when it came to making sure she captured our day.
Even before the wedding, she came to meet us (way out of her way) to do our engagement photos which was not an easy spot to get to. Right away, she jumped in and made us feel extremely comfortable with being photographed. Which, unless you're a model, is not something you expect to be strange at first. Amandarose made it as easy as it possibly could be.
She was confident and knew how to run the show, but not pushy or overbearing. She was always directing traffic with a beaming smile, making sure that everyone involved felt comfortable.
As the bride, she felt like a friend and someone that I could actually talk to. I loved having her in the room with me on the wedding day and true to form, made me feel special and beautiful.
If you're looking at other photographers, don't. Amandarose should be your choice!
