Agora is a new favorite spot of mine in DC. The selection of spreads is fantastic, with each being super flavorful and unique. The pita bread was super fresh and soft. Then some of the side dishes like the flat bread with goat cheese, or with minced lamb were fantastic. The main entrees of Lamb chops, or riblets were incredibly tender and delicious. Came here for a work holiday party. Food was quite good. The wait staff was exceptional. The moment they heard from one of my coworkers I had Celiac disease, they started bringing out plate after plate of gluten free dishes for me. Really impressive!

Excellent food! Really captured the tastes of Turkey (and Greece & Balkans). Very vegetarian friendly. We went for dinner and especially loved the dolmades (stuffed vine leaves), the Cypriot salad and the spinach Borek.

Agora has the best bottomless brunch in DC, which includes a wide range of Mediterranean dishes. I visited with friends in November 2019 and had a server named Burak who was excellent, speedy, and kept good food and drinks constantly flowing. The Turkish food here is perfect - the ezme is a real standout, don't miss it (unless you hate peppers for some reason). Quality bread, and the wine we had was a good complement to the dishes. Even the çay tastes like you're back in Istanbul. Waitstaff were appropriately attentive - not aloof, not hovering (some were speaking Turkish as well). For 2 people - wine, 5 dishes (appetizers to mains) shared, tea/coffee and baklava: cost was ~$105 including tip.
