I have known Kati for over 10 years, she had done my hair and makeup on many occasions. she never disappoints and always hits it out of the park. she makes me feel so beautiful. I have never been one to wear makeup, in fact I barely have any of my own! My friend hired Kati to do my makeup for the night of my birthday.
I have NEVER felt more beautiful, she listened to my ideas, and gave me the most beautiful glow.
Not to mention her personality and making you feel comfortable and loved.
I cannot recommend her enough!

I had a very bad experience with this make up artist over the past weekend. Unfortunately this makeup artist did not end up doing my make up for my wedding even though I booked her services for the day and did a trial through her. She was very difficult to get ahold of during the weeks leading up to the wedding and I finally got ahold of her/got some response by Wednesday morning of wedding week. Instead of going to my venue in Waverly she ended up somewhere 2 hours away, even though the Monday before the wedding I texted her specifically the wedding was in Waverly, IA and told her that during my trial!! She was bringing along another make up artist to the venue so since she was in the wrong place she sent the other one to me and said she had to go do wedding make up somewhere else in Des Moines that morning. At that time I will still under the assumption that she would be coming to me and the other make up artist could work on the other girls. When the other make up artist got to me it was already late morning and had heard nothing from Kati. I tried calling multiple times with no response, zero for awhile. Then I get a text that the other artist was going to have to do my make up and not Kati bc she was still finishing up a different bride. Thank goodness for the other make up professional , I still got to feel beautiful on my wedding day but it was very stressful morning due to the lack of communication from Kati and not knowing what was going on. Didn’t show up on my close friend’s big day. She called at 9, when she was supposed to show up, telling her that she was still 2 hours away. Then, she told the bride that she had to stop in Des Moines first to do another bride’s make up first. So she wouldn’t be there until 12 or after, when pictures were meant to start at 12:30. She completely stressed the bride out and brought her to tears. Would NOT trust this artist. More...

Absolutely not.
Extremely unorganized. Last weekend I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding where After Glow Pro Studio was to do the brides makeup.
After giving her the address to the venue multiple times, they “went to the wrong place” (2 hours away I might add) and then had the audacity to call the bride ON THE DAY OF HER WEDDING and tell her that she’s just going to go do another brides makeup instead. Thankfully, the bride is naturally gorgeous and did not need her services anyway but that is besides the point.
I cannot comment on her actual make-up work because I did not get to experience it…however, what good is the work if they don’t show up? :’)
