Advantage Personal Training has literally changed my life! My lifestyle is a complete 180 from the lifestyle I lived before I joined APT. The day I took the leap and signed up for a 15 day trial, I had NO CLUE how to work out. I had never worked out, seriously and consistently, ever in my life! I was over weight and miserable. I was looking to get stronger after suffering an injury. Like a lot of people I had a membership at a gym where because I really didn't know what to do or how to do it would go on the treadmill for 40 minutes. .look around...and leave. Membership was extremely cheap...and I can count on one hand how many times I went....Enter Advantage...I had heard from a very good friend how successful she had been going there and how great the trainers were...I knew the cost was going to be a lot different but it was time to focus on me! The feeling of community happens with the first step into the facility. There is no judgment...at all!!! They are the most caring people, they truly want to help you meet your goals. The trainers are so much more than the $10 a month clubs. It's a commitment they help you stick with...its been two years now...one of the best things I've done...for me!!! Best gym!!! Hands down!!! After moving from California to Connecticut I visited 3 local gyms, and Advantage was the only one I felt could meet my needs. Other gyms wanted me to become a member before they’d talk about personal training. I didn’t want to commit to a membership some place that wasn’t a good fit for me, setting myself up for failure. After a 6-9 month lapse in my exercise, due to relocating, I knew I needed the accountability of a personal trainer that Advantage offers. I signed up for a 21 day challenge then became a regular member, but my experience is anything but regular. The staff are knowledgeable and motivating, they know how to modify exercises as needed, and they push me to push myself. The nutritionist on staff has been very helpful when I had nutrition questions. Everyone encouraged me when I cut all sugar, sugar substitutes, dairy, soy, and wheat out of my diet and felt like my body weighed a ton and moved at a snail’s pace. They got me through those 1-2 weeks and I have seen my muscle mass increase and my body fat decrease. I can do push ups and pull ups and today I did 100 medicine ball slams. I began my journey at APT with a 21 day challenge back in September. It was such a success I knew there was no way I could leave this gym! I love ALL of the staff and trainers SO much. Unlike any gym I have ever belonged to in the past. My teenage son and husband now also train here because it is just that amazing of an environment! Always positive, encouraging & knowledgeable this staff is there for all of there members to help with fitness goals. They are always happy to modify my workouts when I need it. I started working out at Advantage 5 months ago, and couldn't be happier with their help. I had a surgery on my hand (a year before) and my shoulder (7 months ago), and had some major improvements to be made prior to going out to work with a Blackfoot Indian Family and their ranch in Northwestern Montana. My trip included 5 - 7 hours of horseback riding a day, the physical work with cattle, sleeping on the ground, and all the travel in between. I explained what my needs were when I started in January, and all of the trainers at Advantage (even those who I did not work with) were totally on board with my recovery and advancement. They designed a training that specifically worked towards improving areas where I had surgery, and to strengthen the areas of need for my trip. Additionally, as they have helped me improve my other shoulder enough that I currently have held off the surgery that was recommended for it. I have just returned from my trip, and completed a very rigorous period with no pain in my shoulders or hands. I was more active then I could have imagined I could be, and am so thankful that the folks at Advantage of helped let me take back my health. I just signed up for the next year, and have new goals that I am looking to share and achieve. I highly recommend. More...

Paige was the person who got me to walk through that door to take a chance, Keith helped me understand that APT is more than a gym, Bethany is always there to answer any and all of your nutrition questions and then there's Sarah- my awesome trainer. Starting Point Session
Sit down with our head trainer and make a road map to accomplish your health and fitness goals.
Private Personal Training
Working with one of our Certified Personal Trainers, you will be exposed to in-depth instruction while focusing on your specific goals at our State of the Art Training Facility.
Small Group Personal Training
In the Small Group setting, we will place you in the proper level of training for your goals and concerns. During your training sessions, you will meet with one of our certified trainers in our Small Group format (2-4 people). In this personalized setting, you will be exposed to in-depth instruction while focusing on your specific goals. It’s just as good as private personal training at a fraction of the cost with the added motivation of your workout partners.
Team Training
Many people strength train with weights, while others do cardio or aerobics – somewhere in between is Team Training. This program is specifically designed to increase your metabolism so that you’re burning calories during and after your workout, and even while you sleep! Not only will you get an amazing workout where you can burn up to 1,000 calories in an hour, but you’ll love the community you’ll build through our group format.
