This company did my move back in August and packed all my belongings in storage. I waited this long before I wrote a review because I wanted to see if my furniture and belongings were in good condition. I was initially scheduled with another moving company, but I made a mistake and scheduled my move on a day I was not in town. Unfortunately, the moving company I had scheduled with had no other availability in my time frame. I was on a cruise and couldn't just fly back so I was frantically trying to find movers. I was in the process of selling my house and the new tenants were excited to move in. I called everywhere. No one had any availability except for Advanced Relocation Services. I was so grateful. I had talked to the owner/manager, and he seemed really nice. He kept me up to date with move date and made sure that there were no changes on my end. Moving day comes and the movers arrive. There are three polite guys. They get started with the move. I can hear a lot of noise upstairs and I thought they were just moving quickly. Unfortunately, I had to leave and run errands, but my husband is there. I tell him to call me when the move is done. My husband calls and tells me that there are some damages along the walls from the move. I talk to the lead guy there and he says "Don't worry, accident's happen" then proceeds to tell me that's what they have insurance for. Keep in mind that I move every couple of years, and I have never had my walls nicked so bad.At this point I'm freaking out, because I had my interior walls painted for my buyers. I tell one of the movers that I need it fixed asap because I just had it painted and my house is expected to close soon. He assured me that someone would come out within a day or two to repaint the house. Well, 2 days later and we still haven't heard anything so we call the manager directly. Mind you, my husband and I are no longer living in that house and we live about 40 minutes away. The manager then tells us that it will be another week or so for someone to paint the house. The "assigned" painter no shows on my husband once after he drove 40 minutes to meet him at the house. Then the painter says he is coming back another day to fix it, but for whatever reason that doesn't happen. Now the buyers have moved in, and they were provided the painter's number so that they could work out a time frame of when the painter could come and fix up the dents. The new owners couldn't get a hold of him. They were so frustrated they just told us to cancel the painting job because this company did not seem credible. I just moved into a new house and used Kangaroo Movers. The three young men were very careful with my belongings. After they left, I inspected the walls for any damages and found none. I was extremely pleased with their services and will use them again for future moves. I moved to a rural location, and they still did the 1.5 hour drive to do my move. I gave them a 20% tip because they did 10x better job than this company. I have enclosed some photos, but the damages are worse in person. More...
