I was recently visiting from Los Angeles and my body was all out of whack from the long day of traveling and plane ride in particular. I have been receiving massage and other therapies from Adriena Dame for quite awhile, mostly for relaxation and migraines. And when she got certified to administer cupping therapy, and I learned about all of the possible benefits, I knew I had to try it to see if it would help with my arthritic knees (knees that have also had stem cell transplant therapy). Cupping therapy is definitely a strange-feeling practice at first, but Adriena did a good job of explaining how it works, and the concept of negative pressure. I was absolutely stunned by the relief I felt immediately after my first session. The popping, pain and inflammation in my knees dramatically decreased--all the way to "barely there" status. I am able to walk with ease, bend and straighten my legs without anticipating the hurt that usually occurs. And the facial cupping was magically relaxing. It was really neat to see how it it reduced the appearance of my laugh lines, gave my face a smoother, healthier appearance. I was literally glowing when I strolled out of her office, which my friends and family noticed right away. Adriena is simply amazing! I have seen her for just about every service she offers--from reiki, yoga and tibetan acupressure to life coaching, hands-on massage and barefoot massage (one of the best massages I've ever had--if not THE best). Not only does she have magical healing hands (and feet), she possesses one of the most vibrant and caring spirits that I have ever encountered. When she listens, she listens with her whole mind. When she empathizes, she does so with her whole heart. Every session I have with her feels like a sacred partnership, one that is focused on my desire to take care of myself and Adriena's desire to show up for me.

When I busted my hip, Adriena was there (for our appointments, of course), but she also visited me in the hospital several times, and texted me the most uplifting messages EVER. There was no payment involved, just pure-hearted support. When my father was dying, Adriena put on her End-of-Life Doula hat and saw him through to his death. It was peaceful and beautiful. When my marriage fell apart, not only did I sign up for Adriena's divorce recovery program, which rocked my world in a good way. She even built a whole, donation-based private meditation series for me and my children to attend--and anyone else I wanted to invite.

Every single tool I have learned from Adriena has come in handy for other life stuff that has come up for me. I manage stress 100% better, have developed a consistent daily meditation practice, and my low-back pain is GONE. GONE!
