Even on a busy day, the patio does their best at getting the food out as soon as they can. With a small kitchen it is understandable why there might be a wait, but who cares when you are listening to great music, drinking a cocktail, and sitting right on the edge of White Bear Lake.

We had good service and the food is good. Not fantastic but good. When I go I usually check to see how crowded and pick an off peak time. Love the view!

My fiancé and I had our engagement party on the new yacht rental service at Admiral D's - it was FANTASTIC! Our guests loved every minute. The food, drinks, service, and all was great. We took the dinner cruise Friday evening and staff were friendly and attentive. The buffet food (pulled pork and buns, chicken wings and bbq pork and meatballs. salad and fruit) was plentiful and delicious. It was a smooth sail around the lake with open bar and skilled bartender--fast service. We would like to see some temporary lighting while exiting so we could see better walking on the dock to shore. But all in all it was a good time--we enjoyed every minute and will return to the patio bar. More...

Any other year since D's has opened this would have been a 5+ star review. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of previous years. I have only been twice so far- the first time I brought a friend and had a horrendous mojito (sad because I used to go to D's for their mojitos). I went 2 weeks ago with my husband and the food was only so so. Our waitress who has worked there for some years seemed frustrated by our questions about changes to the menu. The reason we asked these questions was because the changes weren't positive ones. I'm hoping the owner will read these reviews and change D's back to the way it was. The restaurant I know and love would never have put up with some of the things that have happened in the other reviews. More...

The service here is always great, the bathrooms are always clean and the owner is a nice guy as well! They have this gigantic boat that cruises the lake and you can rent it for a private cruise. They do a concert every year with cities 97 that is awesome. More...
