I started seeing Dr Helen about 14 months ago my feet hurt so bad sometimes couldn't hardly walk. Had been going to an acupuncturist In Longview where I live twice a week for 3 months or more kinda helped. Started working in Beaumont temporarily and my feet were worst than ever googled alternative medicine and in two or three sessions she had my feet pain free. a couple months later they started hurting again, by that time was back in Longview and another acupuncturistsI had started seeing, said they didn't know what they could do for my feet so I started going back to Dr Helen. She is 195 MILES ONE WAY FROM MY HOUSE and totaly worth every mile. I went twice a month for the last 5 months. I am down to once a month if that now. I brought my son to Dr Helen to treat swollen lymph nodes, which were the result of the harsh chemicals in the acne facial wash and treatments. After the first visit, his facial acne and redness was remarkably better! I've taken him back once a week for 8 weeks and his face is clearing up without chemicals. His acne is 75-85% gone! TWIMC, I was suffering from my digestive system functioning improperly. This was due to my terrible and extreme eating habits. I sought medical attention once my mind started being compromised and pain in my abdomen was consistent. Whereas I am usually a sharp individual, I found myself a victim of frequent short term memory loss, as well as sinking into a continuous lethargic state of mind. After doing some imaging on my digestive system, my doctor found a mass in my small intestine. They pressed for surgery which would have removed a portion of my small intestine. Before going through with an expensive consultation from a surgeon, I decided to get a free consultation from Dr. Helen. She seemed confident that her acupuncture therapy would allow my body to begin healing its self. We agreed to a 10 session package, which was much more affordable than surgery would have been. After a few sessions I saw increases in my digestive flow and also began to shift into my normal mind state of optimism and high spirits. I believe a lot had to do with minimizing my fear ridden self with detrimental thoughts about my body and organs. I learned from Dr. Helen that the problems with my small intestine were more of a secondary effect, whereas the primary cause was imbalances in my organs.After my sixth session, the abdominal pain has ceased completely. I finished my tenth and last session today and feel dramatically improved than when I had first gone to see her. With all this being said, I also began incorporating healthy habits, yet acupuncture therapy is the main contributer of my improvements. I have yet to perform updated imagining in order to determine how much my body has healed, yet I plan to in the near future. I know it has improved nonetheless. I still plan to routinely see Dr Helen to further improve my health. She is a wise and compassionate individual, and I am very grateful to have met her. I see Dr. Helen every other week for migraines, and pain around my neck, shoulders and back. Dr. Helen has made wonderful progress easing my pain. She explained that tight areas block blood flow, and cause pain and other problems. I have seen Dr. Helen 4 times so far, and she has dramatically reduced my pain. I plan to continue seeing her 2x month into the foreseeable future. She has worked miracles with my pain and I highly recommend her for anyone dealing with pain. It's never to late! I have been a patient of Dr. Helen for almost a year. I have migraine headaches and severe neck pain. I can honestly say that my headaches are less in frequency and less in severity. My neck pain has improved greatly. I go in once a month for a treatment and I am good to go. She is so kind and caring and really wants to help get to the root of the problem! I have had neck nerve pain for 5 months... went to my local doc, referred to neck specialist, I was given meds... no help. ..complained daily! Dr. Helen was miraculous with her treatment for my back and leg pain. After two back surgeries, I was left with severe nerve pain and sensation in my back and leg. I missed 3 months of work, was confined to a bed for days at a time. I used a wheelchair, a walker, and a cane during my failed recovery. I endured pain and discomfort without any improvements.I then started to go to Dr. Helen Zhou, The first visit went very well. She is very professional and diligent in her treatments.
