My first experience getting cupping therapy was here and it was amazing. They used CBD massage oil with my session and it gave me so much relief. They sell very potent CBD oil from hemp that you can only get from a doctor. Much better than the stuff you get elsewhere. Arthritis really got to my back that I could barely move to bend over and do normal activities. The doctor got me back to being without any pain and able to move again. I'm going back for monthly care to keep me going along good and healthy. I'm taking my fish oil and the herbs they suggested. Dr Mick treated him for severe pain in his extremities, restless leg syndrome, etc. , with great results even after just one treatment. Background:I've been experiencing severe sciatic nerve pain in my lower back and down my left leg on and off for over 2 years. This was caused by my back surgery for spinal stenosis that I had performed in December of 2015. I'm currently taking prescribed medications for nerve pain due to my spinal stenosis condition. These medications do not provide any pain relief for my severe sciatic nerve pain. For the last 4 months the pain has be excruciation in the mornings. I was not able to stand and had to actually crawl to my chair and apply a heating pad. Eventually I was able to stretch the nerves and muscles where I was able to stand and walk.During this time, my family physician has given me 3 steroid/anti-inflammatory injections. The pain relief lasted only day or so for each injection. I also had my pain management doctor give me 2 epidural injections in my lower back directly into the sciatic nerves over the past 2 months. These shots only made the pain worse. With the last epidural injection causing a severe stabbing pain in my lower back every morning upon getting out of bed. Dr. Mick's Huntsville Wellness Acupuncture Treatment:After just one session with Dr. Mick on Tuesday, 29 May 2018. I was able to get up the next morning with very little sciatic pain down my left leg and no stabbing pain in my lower back. He also prescribed some herbal medications which I now take religiously. I'm now doing weekly session with Dr. Mick. The severe sciatic nerve pain has been reduced significantly. I appreciate that the doctor does a lot of hands-on work to get my muscles loosed up and the knots worked out with acupressure and trigger point massage techniques. The doctor also provides acupressure and that doesn't involve needles. I took my six year old grandson to him to help out with some belly issues. His tummy aches have not been helped at the other doctors. He used this little Japanese massaging tools and his hands and fingers to press and massage on different areas of my grandson's arms, legs, back and belly. The little guy enjoyed the treatment and it moved quickly from one area to the next so it made like a fun game. We also were given some herbal pellets to take. He took them easily. It’s about to be a week since we visited for the first time and both my fiancé and I had Dr. Mick perform accupunture on us. My fiancé went in for a pain that he’s had on his back/shoulder for months now, while I went for the balancing of hormones. My fiancé was skeptical at first, but now, he can finally work out and lift weights without his shoulder pain limiting him, which no massage therapy has been able to do for him before. Treatment was gentle and really worked! I didn't want to become another statistic in the opioid epidemic. My physician could only offer me pain drugs to deal with my chronic back pain even after surgery a few years ago that didn't help. I am glad I found this acupuncture doctor because he really helped me. I don't know why my physician didn't recommend acupuncture since they use it at places like Mayo. I got some great help for my plantar fasciitis with his acupuncture and cold laser treatments. I also like he gave us event volunteers a great discount since I've helped out as a volunteer at many of the area events over the past few. I still manage to run. them too. He got me back to being able to run and train again. Nothing else helped until I let Dr Mick work his magic.
