I have been working with Mike and Carlos at Active Body for a few months now and I've lost 26lbs and counting! Mikes workout program has helped me so much in losing weight, building muscle nad overall living a much healthier lifestyle. The workout program they put me on is really fun, dynamic and adaptable so it never gets boring and is always challenging. Both Carlos and Mike are very knowledgeable and know exactly what stretches and precautions to take so that I don't injure myself and they adapt workouts to their clients' needs and strength levels. Mike is certified in functional movements which allows him to determine your level of fitness and where he can start with you safely. I go running outside with Mike, I do weights hard inteh gym with arlos so it's very diversified. Carlos has a lot of knowledge on weightlifting! He knows exactly how to maximize my workouts by showing me the correct form and angles. Both of these guys are very passionate about fitness and if you're thinking about embarking on a fitness/health/body transformation journey--whatever it may be--I know that they will help you every step of the way with whatever you need! It doesn't matter your age, level of fitness, or background, their clinentele is very diverse and they can adapt to whaever needs and concerns yo have. It has been a great start for me to lose the weight I have been wanting to for the longest time. With Michael's help he kept me focused and in track with my goal. So far I have lost 10 pounds from March and it's now May. I look forward to working out because every time it's a different regime and my body loves it! Just the thing I had missing in my life. Mike has in-depth detail on specific workouts, and has great knowledge. He introduced me to foam rolling and new ways that will improve my performance in basketball and volleyball. After working with 3 different personal trainers, Mike from Active Body has definitely pushed me to work harder for my body goals. He is always keeping up in touch to see how my diet is going as well. My previous trainers never even bother asking or making sure I’m on track. Another thing I noticed and was really helpful is that he is a trainer that makes programs for each client. Even on the days we don’t meet for a session, he gave me a list of things I can do on my own to continue my training. I’m a cheerleader and I use to struggle with speed and flexibility, thanks to his training I can actually do stunts!! Not only have I gotten more flexible but I have more strength and my body is definitely toning up. Trust me, he is a professional and knows what each of his clients needs to achieve their goals. We make sure that all machines are clean and they everyone must wear a mask especially over their nose. There is hand sanitizer located at all parts of the gym. We must read anyones temperature who comes through the door.

Services

We create a detailed program specific to your goals and current level of fitness. We use strength training, stretching and nutritional programming to get you to your goals.

If you are interested in training with your spouse, family member or a friend we can train both participants as well as train both members on their specific goals.

The power-building program we hold at nights for a small group of 3-5 people.

Powerbuilding is a combination of powerlifting and bodybuilding training principles in order to get brutally strong while still building as much muscle as possible.
