Very tasty! Looking for a marinara fix without the pasta? Try their baked meatballs! Three massive meatballs covered in their delicious marinara and with green peppers and onions and bake with cheese on top! That's my plate on nights I have to try something besides pizza!!! Friends had recommended Acropolis and I got to try it on Friday. My salad with salmon was very good. Having that bottle of Greek dressing on my table was a treat. For dessert, I had tiramisu, which was the best ever! I liked their coffee, too. I look forward to trying other menu items. More...

My family and I love to stop by Acropolis when we are in the Arden or Asheville area and can make it by. The service is always amazing ,even when they are very busy, and the food has always been top notch on our visits. Although I pass this place 4 times a day, I only randomly come as I tend to opt for the "quick/fast" meal. However it always smells so good even passing by, I had to stop by for a to-go order. The guy I ordered from, JACOB, knew every meal I asked about. After ordering I told him I'd be in my car waiting considering I had my barefoot squirming toddler with me. Only 15 mins after I ordered (5 mins sooner than told) I watched Jacob walking the parking lot with bags looking for me...he brought our food right to the car and asked what else he could help with. Service was very good. Our server, Jacob was very attentive but not overly so. I had meat lasagna. It was very tasty and large portion. My friend had chicken parmigian it was very good and a large portion also. Only, disappointment was the side salad. Great food, great service for dine in or take out. I even have a favorite employee, Daniel. He has ALWAYS been pleasant to this long time patron. He goes beyond measure to satisfy the customer. Employees like him deserve a raise or at least recognition because a happy employee=a happy customer=a successful business, and a successful business should recognize that success can't be achieved without great employees. The house dressing sitting on your table is not for shots, but it's so good you want to do it. the gyro platters are bountiful.
The chicken is succulent the lamb is savory and the tzatziki compliments it perfectly. The spanakopita Filo dough was crispy and the filling of spinach was moist and savory. Next time we get Pizza because they looked and smelled so appetizing. We wanted to try all the desserts. We opted for the key lime pie, a definite winner. They even carry gluten free sub rolls.
We missed them as soon as we left. Great service too. Thank You!!!

The Greek salad was extra good and the dressing much better than the last time I was there a few months ago. Margherita pizza is one of my favorites but the crust was a bit overbaked, still delicious. Great service!!

This was our first visit to Acropolis and we were THRILLED! We were in a hotel and ordered some to-go goodies. First off, the food was amazing! We got crispy mushrooms, mozzarella sticks and two calzones. The calzones were a HUGE hit...even delicious ice cold this morning! Secondy, the service was stellar. I'm a stickler when it comes to guest service and the folks that helped me were on the ball! They had supplies to take back to the room (plates, plastic ware, etc.) and they double checked the order while I waited--I was really impressed with that! We'll definitely be back!! More...

Good food and excellent service. Supposed to be 10 of us and ended up just 6. Came in a few at a time and requested separate checks and the waitress was very gracious and patient with us. A good dining experience. Had the Mediterranean wrap and calamari. Enjoyed both but really liked the wrap. I can't believe what just happened, I placed a to go order and when I picked it up they double checked it for accuracy and sent me on my way. I didn't bother to triple check it so when I got home, my side Salad had been left out. I called to see if they would adjust the bill b/c I didn't feel like driving back from my home in Mills River and the manager (maybe the owner) personally delivered my side salad. WHAT?!?! Ordered takeout but will come back to visit soon. It was some of the best Italian and Greek food we have ever had. The people were so nice and the sample of the smoked almond ice cream was great that we added a bowl of that too.

I live right across the street so naturally I come here often, and have yet to have something I didn't like. They have a good selection of both Italian dishes as well as Greek. The Italian dishes I have had are good, the Yugo burger is awesome with some Tzaziki sauce on top, and the Gyro's are pretty good too. For dessert the Baklava is very good but is a little pricey for the size piece you get. I've always got good service here too! More...
