Can not recommend as they kept our money from a Covid 19 cancelled wedding reception. They won't return our phone calls to discuss this situation.

Rediscovered this restaurant. Went 3x in the last couple weeks. Since they just reopened during Covid, of course staffing was an issue but we understood. Our food was outstanding. View is perfect. Best dish. The Cioppino Best dessert. The Spumoni cheesecake More...

I don’t know if you were short staffed but we had to have another server get our waitress several times. Food was just ok. Guess we paid for the view. Wasn’t worth it and if I get covid I’m not going to be happy. More...

Best place for amazing food, craft cocktails and fantastic service. Flat Stuffed Banana pepper pizza and the Rust Belt Marguerite pizza steaming hot and delicious. Grass Fed burger was amazing. Sam and Maddy were our flawless server’s and the manager even checked in on us. Social distancing done perfectly. The patio and sunset, unforgettable. Don’t miss this! More...

Party planner beware! After months of attempts to work with Acqua, they ultimately ghosted me and I ended up moving my party to my home with 7 days notice. Multiple assurances, soft contracts, never a contract though that protected either party (listed things vaguely, not anything that could be tied to details, errors all over them) and we had to give up. By the grace of God I had a place to hold my party, large enough to accommodate the 35 guests, and friends willing to help to pull it off. Beware - something very bad going on with very basic event management. More...

Writing this review was HARD, and that’s only because I have a plethora of amazing things to say about Classic Events. My husband, Mike, and I got married at the Hotel @ The Lafayette and we couldn’t have wished for a better day. Unfortunately, my husband and I were stuck with a venue we ended up hating, and Alison with Classic Events saved the day. A few months before the big day, I called Alison hoping they had something available. To my disbelief, the hotel @ the Lafayette was available for our day. It was a DREAM venue for us, and we felt so lucky to be able to get married there. Picking a new venue was just the start. We only had less than 3 months to square everything away, and that was daunting. Alison worked with us for every little detail, and always made herself available when we called or I was having a bride freak our moment. Fast forward to the big day. We had our ceremony in the crystal ballroom and the reception in the marquis ballroom. Both were STUNNING, and it felt like a dream. Nothing went wrong, and I mean NOTHING. The venue was flawless, the food was to die for, and the staff was professional, kind and efficient. Making that crazy, last minute change to the Hotel @ the Lafayette with Classic Events was the best decision we could have ever made. It was a beautiful day, and our guests are still raving about it. I can’t imagine our day any differently and if you book your big day with them, you will not be sorry. More...
