Carl from On Track Accounting is the BEST! To begin, he arrived to our meeting on time and upon meeting, he asked me about myself and my business so that he can give me the most specific and accurate help possible. I truly feel like he listened to everything I said and genuinely cared about what my concerns were with the accounting I had done on my own thus far. We work with customers of all sizes and have experience with many different industries. Our clients typically fall into one of the following categories.
- Businesses that want to do their own bookkeeping but need someone with more knowledge to review and audit their entries and perform reconciliations.
- Small businesses that have monthly input and reporting needs and don't have time or the knowledge to handle it themselves.
- Larger businesses with in-house bookkeeping staff that prefer to have bank accounts reconciled by an outside bookkeeper.
- Businesses that need customized services such as point of sale entries, daily bank reconciliations, bill paying and customer invoicing.
- Businesses that have gotten behind on their bookkeeping and need everything brought up to date.
- Businesses that find their QuickBooks file needs to be cleaned up prior to having their taxes filed.
- Businesses that are tired of having to hire and train in-house bookkeepers.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
My advice would be to work with someone who offers exactly what you need. Don't hire a tax professional for bookkeeping and don't hire a bank as a payroll provider. If you are looking for a QuickBooks expert, be sure the person working on your books is a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing small business reach their full potential, from the moment they realize the value of proper record-keeping to the point we are sought after for non financial advice it's a great journey.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working for over 15 years as a Corporate Controller, I decided to start my own business in order to offer other small business owners a corporate level of bookkeeping expertise .... even when they sometimes have only a few hours per week or month of bookkeeping.
Why should our clients choose you?
We pride ourselves on being more than just regular accountants that will tell their clients whether they had a profitable month or not.
Recording what took place yesterday is the easy part, our focus is really on analyzing the numbers via various analytical methods to make sure developing trends are addressed before they become real issues.
