I began counseling with Dr. Burris about 4 years ago after discovering my husband's addiction and our subsequent separation. Throughout this time, I met with Dr. Burris weekly or bi-weekly, during which time he patiently listened to me, explained and answered my questions about addiction, guided me through the steps of grief, and encouraged me throughout my healing process.
