Bobby was fantastic! He was so great and flexible with when I could meet for our meetings, and the day of the wedding he was a superstar. I had a wedding coordinator on top of him helping coordinate the ceremony/reception and they worked great together (shout-out to Mindy at Day of wedding planning ). He was so awesome in making sure that my husband and I got enough to eat, and had water and everything. Always let me know when the next thing was happening and where I needed to be. We got a little behind schedule but he also managed to play a great little selection of songs to get everyone up and dancing. Will always recommend Bobby for helping make my day perfect! More...

Bobby is a fantastic choice for DJ! He reached out to us several times leading up the wedding to get all of the important information needed to make our day go smoothly. His outdoor set-up filled the park with sound, and we requested the use of a custom sound effect during the officiant’s speech, and he obliged without hesitation making it sound totally natural. He brought us water as pictures were getting started, and he accommodated our request for ‘cake jars’ (each of our names on a jar, whichever jar has the most money means that person gets cake in their face) and he gave just the right amount reminders about it at just the right times. His DJ station inside the reception hall was fantastic - color changing lights and booming speakers - and the way he set things up by the dance floor kept things flowing great with a minimal footprint! I cannot recommend Bobby enough! He is a seasoned veteran in the business and has worked with many venues in the area multiple times, so he knows exactly how things need to be layed out, how everything needs to progress, and pays attention to the bride and groom's needs throughout the duration of the whole event. His music was flawless from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception. Even before the wedding, he kept in touch with me and made sure my needs were met so that I felt at total ease the day of. He even made sure my now husband and I had time to eat our dinner (yay!) My husband was the one who picked Bobby Spencer and to my delight it was the best decision ever. From our first meeting he was so professional yet welcoming and friendly ( Not over-the-top and pushy like other D. J.'s) when we found out he also spoke Spanish we knew he was perfect for our wedding. Leading up the to the wedding he was so easy to contact and even contacted us a few times to check up and update any changes before the wedding. He will let you know what will work as far as music choices to get people dancing and that is a huge plus. He was more then just a D.J. he was a coordinator, timeline, gauged the audience to determine the right music. The music from country, oldies, spanish, rock, such eclectic style had everyone dancing. My mom's side of the family is cuban so he was even a translator for some things for them to understand. A week after the wedding I am still having friends and family come to me and tell me how amazing the DJ was and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Excellent DJ for your event(s)! I highly recommend due to their professionalism, experience, and knowledge about event entertainment needs.

We have been at an event we were invited to and also used them for an event we held. Bob takes time to meet needs, requests, and has a wonderful personality to make the event fun... keeping an eye on the mood and adjusting the music to fit it.

When booking DJ Bobby, you should know you will be in great hands!
He truly cares about his clients and taking care of them on their wedding day. My husband and I chose not to have a day of coordinator so Bobby truly doubled as the "Master of Ceremonies". He made sure my husband and I were fed and doing okay, he played excellent music all night and we had a real blast dancing our night away.
My only small disappointment was he misintroduced a couple of people in our wedding party during the beginning of the reception. This was disappointing because a month prior to the wedding we had a meeting in which we explicitly went over every detail. There were hiccups and changes during the day (not due to the fault of Bobby), but he rolled with it and was pretty flexible with the evening. He can come across a little abrasive, but he loves what he does and it definitely shows! From beginning to end he will have your best in heart! More...

I could not have asked for a better DJ! He was the absolute most excellent and efficient vendor we hired. Bobby was friendly, on-time, understanding, and affordable. He contacted me when he said he would and was always accessible via email or phone. He kept the party flowing and played music that was fun and appropriate for the crowd. My dad wanted to surprise me with the father/daughter dance song and Bobby was to coordinate with him to keep it a secret! DJ Bobby Spencer with ABC DJ is the best! My venue, Diamond D Ranch, recommended him. My fiance and I were able to attend an event they had with him as the DJ and we were sold. He has an amazing personality and seemed very organized and had a great setup of equipment. He sat down with us prior to the wedding and went over every single detail from every song to every second of how and when we wanted things to take place during the ceremony and reception. He totally outdid himself on our big day. He was a day of coordinator and DJ all in one. I wish i could give Bobby extra stars. Bobby is fabulous. I'm so glad we chose him as our DJ. He listened to everything I had to say and was so wonderfully flexible. My husband and I are singers and we wanted to sing a song during the night. He provided us with the Mic and allowed us to do our thing. The music was amazing and the dance floor was full pretty much the whole night. I didn't have a DOC and I was so concerned about getting things done when they needed to get done during the reception and still being able to have fun and not be a bundle of nerves. I really and truly didn't have to worry about a thing. Bobby let us know when everything was going to happen and prepared us for everything. He even kept us well hydrated and made sure we had a drink all night. He also made sure we ate and helped get everybody out at the ends of night. Bobby Spencer is amazing! He is very responsive to emails, easy to talk to in person and over the phone, and excellent at being a DJ! He really listened to what we wanted and provided good insight and direction for our music/sound choices and our overall timeline and flow for day of. On the day of, he did an excellent job with all sounds and music and was very concerned with keeping us (the bride and groom) happy and hydrated; he was very, very thoughtful. My husband and I were married on May 20, 2016 and we booked BoBBy almost a year in advance. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. BoBBy was absolutely amazing, and definitely goes above and beyond. He definitely treated us like family the entire time, and made sure we were taken care of. During pictures, he made sure to bring me drink many times so I stayed hydrated (he even knew what I wanted to drink when my venue didn't). During dinner he made sure both my husband and I ate, even if it was just a little. When my girls were trying to bustle my dress (and couldn't figure it out) BoBBy stepped right in to help and speed the process up (my girls were slow) while playing the jeapordy song to be funny (which made my entire room laugh). At the end of our wedding, our last song of the night was "Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks, and he got everyone on the dance floor, holding hands and singing. It was something very neat and unexpected but definitely created by far one of the best memories of that night. When we were lost on things before hand, BoBBy was right there to tell us what worked best and how things would go which was a lot of help. I feel like I could go on for days and days about how absolutely wonderful BoBBy is. We definitely couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He was by far our best vendor. Again, he's friendly, respectful, professional, and all around great. He doesn’t make you feel like just another wedding. As you can see he cares about you and definitely makes things all about you. You can definitely tell he loves what he does. We will be recommending him to others! Thank you BoBBy for all you did for us!

He was so friendly and helpful! He was probably one a the reasons we didn't go crazy through the planning process. Unfortunately it started raining (surprise in Florida) right before our ceremony and everything had to be moved. Bobby was very helpful and supportive, doing whatever was needed to make our day perfect. After the rain and the ceremony, Bobby ran the reception just as we wished. BoBBy is a phenomenal DJ! He brought his assistant, who is also his wife, and they handled everything for us at our wedding. When I first spoke with him when I was shopping for DJ's, he told me he would not only be my DJ, but also my wedding coordinator--he lived up to and exceeded my expectations! They were fun, natural and fit our personalities perfectly, and they kept us on time throughout the event--without being rude. His assistant taught us how to dance to some of the songs, so it was a lot of fun for everyone there.

Towards the end of the reception, when my MOH lost her car key, he and his wife jumped in and helped look for it. This was very much appreciated, especially when it was finally found. They didn't have to help, but they did because it was important to us.

His prices are very reasonable, especially if you mention you found him on this site. I wasn't local to Jacksonville, so I was even more impressed with his rates and willingness to come to us. I would recommend him to anyone. More...

Bobby did a great job with our ceremony and reception! He was able to keep the party going and played the list of songs we gave as must haves. However, our in person meeting with him was quite lengthy and kind of unnecessary as we had already filled out his party planner and we could have quickly gone through and verified we had the right version for each song but instead we sat with him for 2 hours while every song had a story... During this meeting he also reprimanded me for not telling him that our ceremony would be outdoors without outlets and he would need portable equipment yet I had told him that months prior and he said it was no probably because he already owned the necessary machines. He also did not reply to an email of mine for approx. 2 weeks at one point and I had to send a follow up email which I was not thrilled about. Overall there were some bumps leading up to the big day but due to his reviews and recommendations we had faith and he came through and put on a great show. More...

If you are looking for an excellent DJ and wedding coordinator, this is your guy! I am so blessed to have had Bobby as our Dj. After meeting with Bobby, he knew every little detail of our wedding from the timing of different events to what songs we would like played during those events. Bobby is a very organized person, which I loved!! On the day of the wedding he took the weight off my shoulders by taking care of everything and allowing me and my new husband to enjoy our night. DJ Bobby was a pleasure to have as our DJ. He is so sweet and thoughtful; he helped me make my plate when it was time to eat and he asked me i f i needed anything to drink halfway through the night. .
