Taylor is hands down the best!!! After adopting a rescue dog that was completely unstable, I tried multiple dog trainers and activities at home to try to gain control but failed. With a last ditch effort I found about taylor, and after just 2 hours with him I noticed she was beginning to listen. He completely changed her from a rescue dog to a loving, obedient k9 for my home. Taylor has done and continues to do an amazing job with my pups. I have two young energetic huskies and he really gets their engery out when he has them. I was intimated to walk them since they almost out weigh me and pull, and he took the time to meet me at a park show me how to hold their leashes properly and also what to do if they get excited and start darting or jumping. Highly recommend Taylor and the A1K9 Team. We boarded our rescue terrier Rosie with Taylor and A1K9 for a week while we were at our wedding and honeymoon. It was a stressful time for us in general, and particularly so because Rosie is VERY fearful of new people and has a history of being an escape artist in new situations. We were worried with how long it would take her to warm up to Taylor and let him leash her, take her outside, etc. Turns out there was NO need for us to worry. Despite Rosie giving him a hard time when we dropped her off, Taylor confidently assured us that he was up for the challenge and with his patience, structure and skills, within 2 days we were seeing videos of her cuddling on the couch and giving kisses. I don't think she wanted to leave when my mom came to pick her up at the end of the stay!I cannot recommend Taylor and team more. They are professionals, but you can sense their passion and commitment and individualized approach to caring for any dogs that come their way. They were amazing at communicating with us and sharing updates, and we appreciated the time they took to meet us, talk about Rosie and get us comfortable. Taylor is wonderful at working with both dogs and people! I brought my dog, West, to work with Taylor shortly after adopting him from the shelter last summer. When I adopted West, he would constantly jump on people and was quite the selective listener. Together, they worked on basic commands (sit, down, stay) and the constant jumping. What inspired you to start your own business?
My dog Milly who is apart of the business logo. She is a huge reason A1K9 LLC was initially created and a true fascination for Pitbulls began. The dog in the "A" is a German Shepherd representing someone very close to the owner who raised & trained German Shepherds when he was young. The dog in the "9" is a Rottweiler representing the owners beautiful grandmother who raised and trained the most intriguing Rottweilers, may she rest in peace. Making this logo more than just a business.. but a business with a little history!

I grew up with a beloved Grandmother & uncle who were a breeders of Rottweilers & German Shepherds. Experiencing a variety of training levels & embedding the passion for dogs at a young age. To training dogs on his own starting in his teenage years as a hobby to recently as of 2018, creating A1K9 LLC. The passing of my grandmother in 2017 along with my current dog inspired me to chase what makes me happy, my passion, and something I know my grandmother will love to see looking over me.
