Literally the best place in NYC and the best location :) I have been going to satori laser on and off since 2017 and consistently since the fall of 2018. Katherine is truly amazing--knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The last time I was there Yohanna was my tech, and while I was initially worried because I have only been to Katherine before (and am a live and die fan of Katherine), Yohanna was just as phenomenal as Katherine. With 24 years of experience, Yohanna knows what she's doing and like Katherine is extremely detail-oriented! Additionally, Satori Laser is extremely clean and has the highest quality customer service. While laser hair removal may not be the most comfortable thing in the world, it is extremely effective and Satori Laser with its incredible staff makes me look forward to my appointments. More...

Let me start off with HOW HAVE I NOT KNOWN ABOUT THIS PLACE MY WHOLE LIFE! Holy moly! SO. FREAKING. COOL. My friends love hanging out and eating in Chinatown, and not that I'm never down to join, I'm just never available when they decide to go. Anyways, we started off the night with dumplings, but I was told (multiple times) that "dessert was not an option, we're getting dessert whether you have room or not, so make sure you have room, otherwise you'll be really disappointed." So thankfully I listened and ate a bit for dinner and saved room for the awesomness that is A La Mousse dessert. The actual store is small and cozy, but the staff run around like busy bees with a mission to make your day more enjoyable. Their menus aren't super extensive, but feature lots of pictures, which is wonderful because I don't think I'd have been able to pick something with just descriptions alone. The staff let us know up front that all desserts take about 20 minutes to make, which I mean, is kinda long, but you can't rush greatness. I ended up deciding to get the Tangerine Cheesecake which looks as exotic and exciting as it sounds. On the menu it was described as a "delicacy tangerine flavor cheesecake, layered with blood orange cream and tangerine jelly, served with mango ice cream," and that sounds fancy and all, but the picture of the dessert really sold it for me. The cheesecake comes out literally looking like a tangerine (or an orange as, the uncultured turd that I am, thought it was) and you can crack it to reveal the decadent dessert below. The dessert tasted as good as it looked and only cost $8.95--the fanciest dessert I've ever had that checked off both flavor AND presentation for under $10.00, I WAS SHOOK. I have since gone on to tell everyone in my office about this place, and figured, well, I might as well write up my review on here, seeing as people who come to Yelp are actually there for the reviews, versus the poor innocents in my office who are subjected to my food suggestions only as long as they indulge me until they "have to get on this call, talk to you later, byeeee." I loved the desserts at this place. Not only were they super cute, they were also delicious. My husband got some sort of pistachio mousse. It was the best thing I've ever had. A La Mousse is super cute and has such great desserts. The staff are always friendly as well. I love stopping by whenever I'm in Chinatown. My favorite is the Matcha Double Cheesecake. Can it really be there is an honest and reasonably priced mechanic?I went based on the yelp reviews and I wasnt disappointed! I went in (somewhat) knowing what the problem was to my car but I wanted to hear their diagnostic. Â It was exactly what I thought it to be and the price was very reasonable! I'm sure glad yelp helped me find this shop. I will be coming back and recommending my friends to come here!I really appreciate that they didnt try to upsell or add on any other services. I know for certain the other shops would have try to sell me on other things.If you have a problem with you car they will fix it! This shop serves up some really crazy looking desserts and they taste amazing. I have to say though, there's a lot of similarities with Spot Dessert Bar. ..hmm...My gf and I came here for dessert after dinner in Chinatown. We elected to have table service rather than ordering from the counter. Our server was very helpful in making recommendations, giving us descriptions of items we were curious about, and answering any other questions we had. She was very patient with us despite the place being jam packed and busy as you can possibly imagine.My gf got the Sizzling Ice Cream with the choice of mango ice cream. The presentation was the highlight as they pour hot liquid matcha on top of the dessert. You get to choose the ice cream flavor (we chose mango) which was served on top of a matcha brownie on a sizzling pan. Yes, those are Rice Krispies if you are looking at the photo attached to this review. I got the Hazelnut Mousse Cake. The presentation was very pretty and definitely Instagram worthy. This is a long awaited review. I've held off on a review because I wanted to see if they are consistent with their service. I'm loving their service and all the results I am getting. All the workers at the front desk are friendly and the manager is amazing. She remembers you and greets you kindly. I had my laser done in a few areas and needed touch ups. After the first two sessions I wasn't satisfied because I wasn't seeing immediate results. After discussing my concerns with the technician, she explained that the hairs that grow even with the laser treatments are the ones that might be dormant or at a different phase and thus cannot be treatable at the time. That is why we need touch ups because they haven't been lasered during my procedure (they were sleeping or in the process of falling out) This is probably my 3rd or 4th time completed and I will be going back if I need more touch ups. When you enter, you check in using an iPad and they treat you with a drink while you wait. The area is new and clean and the atmosphere is pleasant. I took pictures previously but I forget where it went (but it's definitely really well maintained). There is several treatment rooms and they give you privacy if you need to undress. Maybe because mine are touch ups but the pain level is really like a tingle to me. Certain areas are more sensitive but I can definitely can tolerate it. The technician explains each procedure and what they will do clearly. They change the strength of the pulse depending on the different sensitive parts of your body. Each technician is different and you should find someone that works best with you. They are easy to make appointments with and they text you when your date is upcoming. If you find a technician you like, you can request to make an appointment with them.A bonus: Check out their website, I noticed that they have a lot of deals going on from time to time for a good price!This place is even better than the original place I got my laser treatment and probably even better. I absolutely love Satori Grand Central ! I have been going to Satori for over a year now for my lower face and now underarms. I have seen significant decrease on my face (12 sessions) but i will need to do a couple of more sessions since my hair is thicker and darker. I love going to Katherine ! She's super sweet, resourceful and always knows what is best for me. She's very knowledgeable and has been treating me for over a year now and i will always schedule my future appointments with her only. If you are thinking of doing laser in any area, i highly recommend Satori Grand Center! Everyone is super kind and the entire clinic is very clean. I've been going to Satori Laser Hicksville for a few months now and this establishment has been consistent with its cleanliness, and great customer service. I only book with Julia who is the sweetest most gentle person ever.. she is always so patient, kind and accommodating! Satori is clean, efficient, and does little things that make the process of laser a pleasant one. For example, it always seems like they are pointing out ways for me to save money on my treatments, and I don't just mean they are upselling. Â When I came in recently with my sister, they gave me a referral credit without me even mentioning anything. I was struggling a some hair under my chin and around my jaw line that was coarse and frankly unattractive. I had been wanting to get laser hair removal done but hesitated out of fear that there was a possibility that the laser wouldn't work for my dark skin. After a year of plucking and frustration at my inability to make the skin where the hair was growing look smooth and hairless. I finally bit the bullet and booked an appointment. When I arrived at Satori I was pleasantly surprised at how the salon looked. Chic in it's all white decor, I was greeted by a really nice woman at the front desk. After answering a few questions, I sat and waited for a few minutes and then I was greeted by my laser technician. She answered every question that I had and we proceeded to do my first session. That first experiance was wonderful. But it was my subsequent experiences with technician Julia that have really made my time at Satori amazing! It was by chance that I couldnt make my second appointment and had to reschedule and because of that I was able to meet Julia. Julia is really one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She explained the process to me with such depth and took care to make sure I was feeling okay while I was undergoing the laser. Not only that but shes also been a huge help in terms of helping me with my skin. When I expressed concerns about my skin (I've struggled with acne) Julia gave me a couple of suggestions that I could do and my skin has greatly improved. And that's one of the best things about Julia, yes she's amazing at her job but she also make you feel so welcome when you're around her. There's never a moment when I'm feeling uncomfortable. Several years later and I'm still impressed with this place. The staff has always been so friendly and they make an effort to keep the place clean and tidy, even near closing hours. I still say their matcha ice cream is the best! They have cakes from chocolate to fruity so you can get whatever you're craving. Their mille crepe is probably most popular, but they do have limited quantities so keep that in mind to come earlier or call ahead if that's what you're after. More...

I had been going to get waxed for years and got tired of having to go every three weeks for appointments. It was also very expensive and there was no end in sight of buying waxing package after  waxing package. I decided to give laser hair removal a try. I did a lot of research and decided to try Satori. My experience has been great. After the first few sessions I noticed a significant improvement. TheMy only complaint is that now that I am at the end of my sessions, I am seeing that the hair isn't responding as well as it did in the beginning. I've been doing laser hair removal with Satori Laser since the beginning of 2018. What a great experience with the Grand Central location. Super clean and both my technicians, Allison and Kat, are so amazing and attentive. They are both so friendly and really ensure that their clients are as comfortable as possible. So far, I've done my underarms, legs, and now Brazilian! Results are wonderful so far; I no longer have to shave my legs or underarms anymore. I just started Brazilian but already seeing such great results. Mike was really helpful in servicing my moms Lexus. The timing belt had broken and needed repair. They use top quality parts only original factory parts not aftermarket ones which is a relief. Some private owned auto shops don't use original factory parts and can definitely affect the performance of the vehicle. I would trust him to service our cars. Â They kept me updated on the repairs and all the communication they had with my insurance. We stayed at Walnut RV Park in our 31Ft Class-A for several months while house-hunting. The staff was always kind, friendly and efficient, happy to recommend shopping or restaurant options. Is this a luxury RV resort? No. But there is a pool and a recreation room with pool table and kitchen, all of which are well maintained. Hands down the best auto repair shop in town ! Super reasonable and the most honest , reliable and professional repair services you can get , ESPECIALLY ( but not limited to) if you have a European car! Came here for dessert after dinner. The place is a little smaller than expected with limited seating on busy nights. For to-go orders, you order at the counter. For dining in, you order at a table. This cafe has a variety of cute desserts and several matcha based ones if you're into that. I got an iced white mocha matcha latte which was a little light but I enjoyed it. I wanted to try the matcha mille crepe but unfortunately they sold out that night, so I opted for the matcha tea-ra-misu. It was alright, but more mousse than actual cake. Definitely my favorite dessert place in Philadelphia! I've tried about 5 plated desserts here until now, and it keeps getting better. The Green Tea-ramisu is an interesting take on the regular Tiramisu, worth a try, although my least favorite from the menu and still really good. The Green Forest is my favorite! The plating is beautiful, and the flavor are well balanced, it's such a detailed dessert. The Matcha Crepe Cake is really well done, and the ice cream along with it just balances it out. We came here for dessert after an anniversary dinner and I was so excited! The desserts are as delicious as they are cute. The service was was good, however I had the feeling the volume of tables and the 2 servers was not fair to them. They often took a while with getting the check and other table side things but other than that it was great! Tried 3 cakes and the green tea when I came. The matcha crepe cake has the right light matcha but not too sweet flavor, but the matcha cream was a bit too greasy. The cup of hot green tea I got was too bitter, not recommended. The piggy cake is yellow cake with berry filling, taste like any other cake of that type, fluffy and sweet slightly overpriced for the taste but Instagrammable. The rose/lychee mousse cake was my favorite and I would buy again. It's slightly sweet, light and fluffy and a perfect balance of lychee and rose that allows you to taste/enjoy both flavor.
