Cinthy and her assistants at A Touch of Grace were a blessing on our wedding day! I did the day-of package, but Cinthy was involved in the planning months ahead of time to make sure everything was heading in the right direction. The week before the wedding I dropped off all of my items (seating chart, lawn games, signs, etc.) and then guess what? I forgot all about them! They were officially not my responsibility. Everything from that point on was in Cinthy's capable hands. The day of the wedding all I had to do was wake up, get dressed, and follow instructions. I wasn't in charge of a single thing except enjoying the day and saying my vows. If there were any problems with the wedding I didn't know about them. This was difficult for me because I am usually in charge of everything, and it took Cinthy saying "Ashley, stop, we've got everything under control" about three times for me to accept it, but I eventually did and let things roll. If you're on the fence about a day-of planner, just do it. It's a gift to yourself. And if you're looking for an experienced coordinator who will guide your event with cool control, look no further than Cinthy!(Beautiful photos by Kristine Herman Photography) More...

Cinthy and her team were awesome!! I hired Cinthy as a month of wedding planner, but she was easy to get ahold of and responsive via email for more than just the month before the wedding, and was incredibly approachable and professional. Since I was planning the wedding long distance, this was incredibly helpful. She helped keep me on track during the planning process, answered any questions I had, and really helped relieve a lot of the last minute stressors. The day of our wedding could not have turned out better if we tried, and Cinthy and her team played a huge role in that!!! More...

TLDR: Despite unpredictable weather, budget, and any other hurdles- Cinthy made wedding planning and ultimately -- wedding day, an absolute dream. My husband and I could not even imagine a more brilliant day without her. This is my first Yelp review and, I am so happy to give it to Cinthy at A Touch of Grace! I know many couples always contemplate allocating budget towards a wedding planner, but I 1000000% recommend having a wedding planner and sincerely recommend one so highly because our experience with Cinthy was amazing.  She was worth every single penny! We worked with Cinthy for over a year planning our Memorial Day Weekend wedding. We switched things up on her during the process and even last minute and, she never wavered.  She was just happy that we were planning a day that would be amongst the happiest days of our lives, even if it meant she had to rebound quickly and work more to find more options or devise new plans. She was transparent from our very first call about setting real expectations around budget.  Although, I wasn't *in love* with the idea of spending more than we had initially wanted, we were actually prepared because she was honest about pricing from the very beginning.  Many other wedding planners whom we spoke to said "they could make it work" and honestly, there was absolutely no way that would have happened.  We were so happy for Cinthy to set expectations correctly throughout the whole process that we couldn't of been disappointed.  We were appreciative to work with someone who was willing to be truthful than just to tell us what we wanted to hear. Thank you so much, Cinthy for making our day and the year and a half leading into it so seamless. More...

We worked with Cinthy as our planner and she was absolutely fantastic! We hired ATOG about 7 months prior to our wedding for full wedding planning. Cinthy kept a detailed timeline of all of our milestones and helped us with sourcing all vendors and in the price ranges that we were comfortable with. She was really helpful in helping with all the big items, and kept us on top of all the small wedding details (that we tend to forget) as we got closer to the wedding. She coordinated with the vendors, managing all the details with our venue and caterers, etc and had a super detailed schedule that outlined every part of our wedding so that everything could be executed smoothly. The day went off wonderfully and flawlessly, and Cinthy had everything under control and on schedule. I was able to enjoy my wedding without worrying about anything and I have Cinthy and her team to thank for that! I would highly recommend her as a wedding planner :) More...

Working with Cinthy/ A Touch of Grace was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Marin County this summer. She went above and beyond her 2 months out coordination duties and helped make sure important items were planned well in advance and chased vendors that were not as responsive as Cinthy. The vendors she pointed us to after we booked her were spot on and were as responsive as she was. Even with the inevitable stress of a big event, my husband and I and our families were able to fully enjoy our wedding weekend and be present with family and friends. We worked with Cinthy for over a year. My wife and I were not familiar with wedding planning and leaned on Cinthy to help us navigate the wedding planning space. Her familiarity with the vendors and venue we booked was a great asset. Most of all, we wanted to hire someone with project management skills and Cinthy was prudent in keeping up with key dates and milestones to make sure we stuck to our timeline. Our Indian wedding spanned 3 consecutive days which was no easy task to plan. Cinthy not only made sure that my wife and i were well taken care of during this time but the value she brought for the price was a bargain to say the least. Every event started and ended on time and was stress free. We highly recommend Cinthy for all wedding planning needs. More...

To give a little background: Neither I nor my wife like planning events. Once we got engaged in January 2017, we thought it would be simple to put a wedding together, we'd certainly been to quite a few by now. Five months later, we had made no progress. (To be fair, a certain video game had just been released on the Nintendo Switch somewhere in there). On top of that, we are both working professionals, and there isn't really a whole lot of extra time we have outside of work, dinner, and social obligations. So, we agreed we had to find someone to help us out. We did shop around, but the options we found tended to be very regimented in terms of what they would do, how often we could talk to them, ask questions, etc. They didn't seem to be a good fit for us. Cinthy, however, seemed much more flexible, and experienced to boot. After everything was said and done, we were glad we had chosen her. If you're like us, and on the fence about hiring a planner (beyond the day- or week-of coordinator), you would do yourself well to consider Cinthy and A Touch of Grace. She was able to keep us on track with various deadlines we were half-paying attention to, presenting us with options (not too many, and not too few) and was completely fine with vendors we would seek out on our own. There were a few times during the planning process where a few things got mixed up here and there, which is forgivable, as we're not the only couple she's working with over the course of a year. I would highly suggest using Google Docs with her, it's an easy way of keeping everyone on the same page in real time, with history tracking, and she's familiar with how to use it.On the day of, the whole thing was smooth as buttered silk on a baby's bottom (is that really smooth? I have no idea). I know I was getting a little crazy leading up to the big moment on the day of, and couldn't figure out why / how she was so calm. In hindsight, I learned that it doesn't help a stressful situation to act stressed, so I think she did a great job at keeping everyone calm and collected. After the wedding, we were also touched at how thoughtful Cinthy and her team were on getting us samplings of all the desserts that we had (since we didn't get to eat of the desserts outside of a bit of cake for the cake cutting), and was also pleasantly surprised the next day to find out that we did not lose one thing during the hectic (and slightly tipsy) wrap up of the wedding evening. Cinthy and her team had helped gather and move everything that we had brought to the wedding to our airbnb. All in all, we are so glad we went with Cinthy as our wedding planner. You can tell how great she is at her job from how vendors praise her as well. Thanks Cinthy for building such a wonderful wedding with us. More...

A couple months before my wedding, I decided to hire a day of coordinator to help run things at the venue. I am planner and have a type A personality, so the thought of giving someone else control over my special day that I had worked for a year to plan was frightening. I contacted A Touch of Grace and had a phone meeting with Amanda Tonkin for the Wrap Up Service. Just speaking with her for the initial call set aside many of my worries. She was easy to talk to, informative, professional, and sounded like she knew her stuff. I had spoken to a couple other coordinators prior to her and none of them compared. Not once did she make me feel like I didn't know anything or force any decisions on me. In the 1-1.5 months before the wedding, I met with Amanda in person a couple of times, talked on the phone a couple of times, and communicated regularly via email. She was great at looking at all of my plans and adding in her recommendations for things I didn't think of (ie extension cords?!). I was also able to meet up with her and drop of some decorations that she drove to the venue and set up for me.I truly cannot thank Amanda and her team enough for the wonderful job they did on my wedding day. I had a lot of DIY items, but the team was able to look at the pictures I sent and set up a fabulous head table, back drop, and set up everything else I had made. Not only did they set up, during the dancing time the team also broke everything down. By the time the wedding ended, most of our stuff had been boxed and set aside, ready to be taken away.I had a lot scheduled for my wedding day and Amanda really helped make sure everything went smoothly. The family portraits after the ceremony were quick (I also told family members that if they missed their call, they missed the picture...), the intros and dances went smoothly, and I got all of my table photos done in under an hour. Amanda's team got each table ready for their pictures before we even got to the table, so we did 25 tables in about 45 minutes! Amanda was also good at making sure we were able to eat during our allotted time. She had to start turning people who approached our table around because I kept talking and not eating.THANK YOU again to Amanda. She was truly amazing and I'm so glad she was the one helping me make my visions come true on my wedding day. More...

Words cannot describe the love and appreciation I feel for Amanda. Since we first spoke 16 months prior to my wedding date, it was like we were the perfect match to be working together. Amanda immediately understood my overall goal for blending our two families and cultures, and the vision of what I wanted in our Mediterranean meats French countryside vibe. Amanda turned our wedding into something more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and it will be a day that I look back on forever. It was a fairytale and it would not have happened without her hard work, dedication and creative drive. Hiring Amanda and A Touch of Grace was the best decision I could have ever made. Amanda always knew what I wanted, often times before I even knew myself. This was the case when we selected our venue. She told me about this 1920s winery that was in a town I had never heard of about 2.5 hours from our home. After much complaining about the distance, not being connected to a hotel, curfew times, etc., we reluctantly went to visit the location. As soon as we walked on the property, my now-husband and I immediately knew it was perfect. From then on, I felt like I could trust that Amanda always had my best interest in mind when exploring new options and venturing out of my comfort zone or "Pinterest" vision. She pushed me to think outside of the box to plan a wedding that would give people an experience they hadn't had before. Amanda tirelessly worked to make my dreams come true. Since we were having a two-day, mixed-cultural event, there were a lot of moving parts for both days. The days had differing themes, styles and completely different food. She had to wear many hats with balancing expectations, being a stand-in therapist, juggling our family's needs and our budget. Amanda handled her role with such grace and I always knew that no matter what, she had my back. Her compassionate, calm nature instantly put me (and my now-husband) at ease throughout the sometimes-stressful process. Amanda has a "yes" attitude. I never once heard her say, "no, that's not possible". Instead, she would always explore whatever crazy idea I had to see if we could make it work. If something wasn't possible, we would come up with an alternative solution. Every inch of the venue was personalized and a nod to our theme - she thought of every space individually to make a cohesive theme come together into a complete masterpiece. Amanda also surrounds herself with incredible vendors (photographers, videographers, caterers, etc.), as well as a team of awesome assistants, which made finding the best of the best a piece of cake. When the weekend finally arrived, Amanda made sure that I would be stress-free. The day was even more magical than in my dreams and looking back, I wouldn't have changed one thing. Our guests continually mention that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that is solely due to Amanda and her hard work. Amanda was my sounding board for ideas and stresses, which allowed me to have an outlet without judgement. She knew how I ticked and after a few months, it was like we were finishing each other's sentences. Amanda was more than my wedding planner, she has become one of my friends and I will be forever grateful that A Touch of Grace brought this incredible woman into my life. Amanda is a true force of nature and I can't wait to have another event to plan with her in the future. More...

Cinthy is excellent with communication and very quick with responses. She kept me on top of the wedding planning timeline, is super detailed, and would check-in with me when I would go missing aka avoiding wedding planning. She broke down the to-do list into manageable portions so I wouldn't get overwhelmed and offered excellent vendor recommendations for DJ and cake, which is hard because my husband and I don't like sweet desserts and we wanted special flavors. She offered her honest opinions on things and let me know where we could cut down on expenses, which I really appreciated. Best of all, she dealt with all the nitty gritty stuff I didn't want to deal. Cinthy and the ATOG team helped execute our very long (5AM to midnight) and complicated (5 different locations) wedding day with over 350 guests, and if anything went wrong on day of, I wouldn't know since I was blissfully kept out of it =) Thanks again for everything! My now husband and I worked with Cinthy and it was amazing.  We were compressing our planning into 6 months and knew we needed serious help.  We decided to do the whole planning package, which comes with complete wedding coordination.  If you have visited wedding vendor sites you know that there are pretty much 5 billion options for everything.  Cinthy worked to understand our vision and feel for our perfect day, and took that 5 billion list and made it into a manageable number for us to research.  Each vendor we worked with was not only professionally excellent, but "got" who we were and just matched our personality.  That was because of Cinthy.  The final 3 weeks before our wedding felt super stressful and crazy because we both were working full time until 2 days before the wedding (and its possible my wedding dress only arrived two weeks before the wedding), but Cinthy handled and took care of everything from vendors.  I can only imagine if I had too coordinate vendors and all of those logistics I would have lost my mind.  And suddenly, once we were on-site, my stress just melted away.  Cinthy took care of everything, and I was able to be fully present.  It was an incredible day, and I know that a lot went into that behind the scenes that I never saw, and I owe all of that to Cinthy.  If you are on the fence about whether you need a wedding coordinator, the answer is "yes, you do."  And you should also work with A Touch of Grace.  It is probably the single best wedding gift you will give yourself. With such a big expense and 200+ guests, we started worrying about a bunch of little things and had so many questions and nowhere to turn. Luckily Halina was able to take us for our wedding day and it was meant to be! She put us at ease so much and on the day of, she brought the equally lovely Amanda and they both made sure the event ran very smooth. We don't know how we would have done it without them! Thanks Halina and Amanda!

I love my eyebrows! Grace did a wonderful job. The environment is very casual and comfortable, great location, and I was very impressed with the services. I did not feel anything! I recommend anyone who has ever thought of doing permanent make up to consider going to a Touch Of Grace. More...

I got my eyebrows micro-bladed and basic eyeliner done today. It was such an easy experience. The hardest part was sitting down long enough to get the process completed. Grace was a perfectionist. She checked everything throughly, made sure both eyes were even, and consistently made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. When I was leaving I could feel the numbing agent wearing off, and I thought to myself- I'm about to feel this. What I could feel lasted about 10 minutes, and it never really hurt. I'm at home now, and it barely feels like I had anything done today. I'm sooo very happy with the work done today! More...

I cannot say enough good things about Cinthy and her team. Simply put, she made our wedding.

When we began the planning process, we weren't sure we even wanted/needed a wedding planner. I'm a very neurotic person who fancies herself great at planning. I make a spreadsheet for almost everything in my life and plan everything. Despite that, Cinthy was still 100% necessary.

We opted for the wrap-around service that starts a couple months before the wedding. Even though we didn't get the full-service package, Cinthy was always available and kept track of all our vendors.

Heading into the wedding was a breeze with Cinthy. Cinthy kept track of all the details, kept me calm and on track. Cinthy was not only keeping track of all the details flying around, she was a great sounding board. One of the big disadvantages of weddings is that you really don't have much context for what's normal and when a vendor is taking advantage of you. Cinthy is that back-up that every bride needs.

Cinthy proved her worth time and time again leading up to the wedding but I was blown away by her dedication, patience, and just plain magic on the wedding day. Starting with her disposition, she was flawless. She was firm with vendors but calming with me.

One of the most amazing things Cinthy and her team did was handle the photo booth. Our photo booth vendor cancelled at the last minute (the afternoon before or the morning of). Cinthy handled it with such poise that I had no idea they cancelled until she found a replacement. One of Cinthy's best qualities is she intuitively knows what she can take care of and what she should get my input on.

Finally, Cinthy is just great to work with. She's hilarious, sweet, tenacious, and so much more. My husband says that Cinthy's the type of person that you'd want to be friends with after your wedding. I couldn't agree more. Thank you so much for all of your amazing work!

I finally relented when I thought about the DIY stuff I wanted to do and wanting someone to set everything up.  CInthy is soooooo much more than someone to coordinate setting stuff up.We opted for the wrap-around service that starts a couple months before the wedding.  Even though we didn't get the full-service package, Cinthy was always available and kept track of all our vendors.Heading into the wedding was a breeze with Cinthy.  Cinthy kept track of all the details, kept me calm and on track.  Cinthy was not only keeping track of all the details flying around, she was a great sounding board.  One of the big disadvantages of weddings is that you really don't have much context for what's normal and when a vendor is taking advantage of you.  Cinthy is that back-up that every bride needs.Cinthy proved her worth time and time again leading up to the wedding but I was blown away by her dedication, patience, and just plain magic on the wedding day.  Starting with her disposition, she was flawless.  She was firm with vendors but calming with me.  I'm sure I did a million annoying inconsiderate things on the wedding day, but Cinthy was always patient with me and made me feel fantastic. Her ability to deal with curveballs was unparalleled as well.  The morning of the wedding someone in the bridal party decided he wanted to do a speech and so did my mother in law.  Cinthy was able to act like it was no big deal with me, communicate with the vendors, and work it in the reception seamlessly.  Not only that, one of the groomsmen decided not to do a speech right before dinner and, again, Cinthy worked it seamlessly with all parties. The photo booth was a great example of that (ie she just took care of it because she knew it would just stress me out) and I can't express how grateful that Cinthy not only found a replacement, but the way she did it.  If all of that wasn't enough, she continued to contact the original photo booth company to negotiate the price difference.I feel silly continuing to say "perfect" when describing Cinthy, but it really is the most appropriate word.  She will be in your corner from day one.  She strikes the perfect balance of being a strong advocate and giving you thoughtful advice.  I felt that every time I asked her advice she had my interests at heart and was ready to go to battle for me with vendors that were causing issues. Finally, Cinthy is just great to work with.  She's hilarious, sweet, tenacious, and so much more.  My husband says that Cinthy's the type of person that you'd want to be friends with after your wedding and she's someone you'd want to have at your wedding.  My mom continued to say that she never thought a wedding planner was necessary, but when she realized everything Cinthy did she definitely thought of Cinthy as one of the most vital vendors.  Not only would I recommend getting a wedding planner, at least for day of, I could not imagine any other choice than Cinthy.  Thank you so much for all of your amazing work! Cinthy was my planner for my wedding in November at The Fairmont in San Jose.  We worked together for about 11 months, after 2 months of foolishly attempting to plan a wedding by myself.   I can't even call her a planner, she was more like a super hero.  Everything that I wanted I was able to text her (sometimes in poor description) and she would send back exactly what I was looking for.  She made me think of things I wouldn't have ever realized and most importantly she kept me organized!  I would receive updates broken down by section (venue..flowers..photographer..etc) and what was needed to be completed next.  And the payments! Oh my, she kept me on time with the payments to vendors with her friendly email reminders.  Cinthy made my dream wedding a reality!  For logistics, she is also so accessible.  I could email her and get a response very quickly, sometimes even minutes after sending!  Same goes for text.  She is truly a 24/7 super hero planner.  Many of my friends are slowly starting to get engaged and when they ask for wedding planning advice I only have one:  you NEED Cinthy.  You don't JUST need a planner, you need HER.  I couldn't imagine planning my wedding without her, and if I had to do it all over again I would do everything exactly the same -- with her. I have been with my husband since I was 12 years old and he was 15 years old.  We ended up getting married in a civil union in 2007 because it was all we could afford at the time.  Fast-forward to 2016 and we were finally in a comfortable financial situation where we could FINALLY have the "Dream Wedding" we have been dreaming of since we were kids.  That being said, we wanted the day to be as close to perfect as possible and in order to ensure we could get as close to "perfect" as we could, we prayed for just the right Wedding Coordinator.  We researched and interviewed.  As soon as we met Cinthy from A Touch of Grace, we knew our prayers had been answered. From the moment we met Cinthy we had a great rapport.  We felt so comfortable with her and felt we could trust her with our "Dream Wedding".  We had 2 years to plan the wedding of our dreams and Cinthy was with us every step of the way.  I am very detail-oriented, a bit of a control-freak and worry wart; so for me to feel like I can trust someone else with a day I have been waiting for over 20 years is a big deal.  That being said, Cinthy was very patient with me and was always able to calm me down whenever I started to freak out.  She was also so thoughtful of my husband and included him on everything.  This was something my husband really appreciated.Throughout the 2 years of planning, Cinthy consistently communicated with us about our preferences for small and big details; vendors; changes; invoice reminders, etc.  She was always organized, professional, attentive, and most of all, kind and loving.  You can see it in her eyes she really cares for her brides and grooms.  I have endless messages from Cinthy that were so uplifting and encouraging throughout our planning process, especially when some family drama was happening (what's a wedding without a little drama, lol).  When it came to the big day, Cinthy and her team were like ninjas.  We had a huge wedding party in true Filipino fashion (we had over 50 people in our processional) and for some this would have been a challenge, but not for Cinthy and A Touch of Grace.  Everything went so smoothly and beautiful and all of the guests were in awe of how everything came together. They were on top of everything, putting out big and small fires alike (which my husband and I didn't even know happened until a couple of weeks after the wedding). But despite this, Cinthy remained attentive to me and my husband and so thoughtful of our needs.  One of my favorite moments was when Cinthy took me and my husband to the reception area before allowing guests to be taken in.  It was breathtaking.  It was so perfect and exactly what I envisioned I was brought to tears.  Another moment of Cinthy's thoughtfulness that resonates with me was when my husband I were treated to a delightful surprise at out post-wedding brunch.  So Cinthy knew I was on a strict diet prior to the wedding and couldn't indulge too much right before the ceremony, but she knew I LOVED macarons.  Nestled away in one of our floral arrangements at our post -wedding brunch was a box of Cinthy's homemade macarons just for me and my husband. Oh my!  Hands down, the best I have ever had and by the afternoon the box was empty, lol.  We waited so long for this day and we were so blessed to see one of our dreams come true and Cinthy was definitely a blessing from above that helped make it happen. This review will not do Maria enough justice for how absolutely amazing she is!!! Where to start... from the moment I met her she was so sweet, and immediately got to know me. She and I met several times to go over my dreams of a perfect wedding. After she took the time getting to know both who I was and what I was looking for, she began to send me multiple vendor options, all of which I loved. One of the things that I thought was incredible about her was how much she understood my vision and style, which was evident by her vendor selections.  She is well planned and very organized and I never had a moment of panic about my vendors or timelines because she had everything under control. During the last 2-3 months of wedding planning, Maria and I were literally joined at the hips; meeting serval times, having several phone conversations and you can't even imagine how many emails and texts we sent back and forth. My family was really hesitant to spend money on a full service wedding planner because it is pretty pricey. HOWEVER, my dad and I think that Maria was the best money that we spent on the wedding. I seriously don't' know what we would have done without her. No matter what time of the day it was or what she was doing she was always there to help us. My wedding was EVERYTHING I wanted and more. Everything went smooth and looked amazing. My guests were wowed, and everything was beyond my expectations and more. I feel like I have so many great things to say, but I don't want to continue to ramble so I will end with this... my wedding is over and while I am so happy to be married I would give anything to have the amazing experience of working with Maria again. Word of advice... you can't plan a fabulous wedding on your own, contact A Touch of Grace so that you can remain happy, calm, and still engaged while you are planning your wedding. More...

Melissa and her team of assistances went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding. This was no simple feat. Our wedding was a three day event where we hosted our guests on my parents property, in teepees, and had to bring everything in which resulted in Melissa and A Touch of Grace having to manage over 20 vendors! During our initial meeting I told Melissa that I wanted to feel like a guest at my wedding. I also wanted to make sure we didn't miss a beat when it came to the events of the weekend and the evening. And she delivered on everything- The planning process with Melissa was absolutely seamless. She came to every meeting well prepared and thoroughly thought threw of all the details. She is also well connected in the industry and had great recommendations on vendors who were all amazing!Because I didn't have to manage all of the details, my husband and I were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding and feel like we got to really be in the moment and were able to say hi and enjoy all of our guests company. One of the biggest feats that Melissa accomplished was to coordinate a surprise (from my father) where jets flew over our wedding right at the end of our ceremony. The timing on this was critical and she was able to pull it off even though my grandma was late to our ceremony. Melissa and A Touch of Grace is well worth every penny. One of the conversations post wedding with my family was that when and/or if my sister ever gets married Melissa will be the first phone call! More...
