The Triple tail is indeed wonderful. The scallops were great. So was our server. Beer and wine only. I would absolutely go back.

Great service right from the start when we walked in the door. Our food experience was good all around. There were 4 of us. The food was delicious, with only one person not entirely happy with the spicing on the short rib meal. Service was satisfactory and the server was attentive. The only issue happened after the meal service was complete. My husband and I were in our car in the parking lot when our server came out as if looking for someone. We thought perhaps one of us forgot something, and the other 2 in our party had already left. We asked her what the issue was - then she asked if we had both the customer and restaurant copy of the charge receipt. As we had not paid for the evening's meal, we called the other people in our party, and they replied that they had handed the restaurant copy directly to the server. The server then made a vague comment about a tip?!? At this point, I let her know we could not help her. After we got on the road to leave, we concluded she may have gotten our party confused with someone else because there was a tip given. We also realized the reason for her approach seemed entirely to seek what she felt was a forgotten/deserved (?) gratuity. That encounter placed a damper on an otherwise enjoyable meal. More...

I've been visiting Bonita Springs for 3 years now and somehow have never tried this restaurant until my most recent trip. Everything was 10/10 . Atmosphere was cute, casual inside but still had an upscale dining feel. Our waitress, January, was a doll- very knowledgeable about all of the food and gave open and honest opinions on what to order. We started with the mussels and the escargot. The escargot was bizarrely delicious, with a sauce that was unique. I'd never tasted anything like that before but thoroughly enjoyed it. And honestly, the mussels were some of the best I've ever had. For dinner, my boyfriend got the prawns in a curry sauce (forget the name of the dish) and they were awesome! I ordered their signature Triple Tail- delicious! We ordered a side of the truffle pomme frittes, and I'm still thinking about them!For dessert- we went safe and ordered the brownie, but all of the desserts are home made, so I don't regret that choice. Always enjoy coming here during our yearly Florida vacation. Â The food never disappoints and I would come here more often if my pocketbook allowed. Â I had my usual scallops and my husband surprisingly ordered the pork chop, an unusual pick for him. Â He loved it. Â My sister had the scallops as well while her husband had pasta. Near the end of our trip, we returned to exotic Bonita Beach Road to try A Table Apart. Â Again the location is drab and pedestrian. Â It is a stand alone building set amidst dreary strip malls. Â The interior is slightly above Wyld's but not on the same planet with any 5th Avenue spot.Luckily the food is great. Â I had tripletail and my wife had prawns. Â This tripletail is the speciality of the restaurant and it is fantastic-- be sure you get it! Â And it was accompanied by a chardonnay I had not had before and I loved it--Aviary. Thanks to Yelp we found this place. The choices weren't as Hawaiian as toted but the food was delicious and abundant. The space is cozy or some might call it cramped. We sat at the bar since Friday's make for very early or late reservations. Jarred was the bartender and although he was young (found out he's just 21), his enthusiasm, attentiveness, knowledge of the menu and friendliness made up for his limited experience. We have driven past this place 100 times. Never even noticed it and might not have known it was a restaurant based on the name. So glad it was recommended to us! Â My husband said he had the best salmon he has ever eaten - and he eats A LOT of salmon. Beet and goat cheese salad was delicious and the short ribs melted in your mouth. Exquisite dining experience upon each visit, the global menu selection offers a glimpse into each culture and its flavors.
