My experience with “A Step Up Window Cleaning”, was wonderful. Everyone from the first phone call to get information, set an appointment , and follow thru was remarkable and helpful. Very friendly also! Andrew did an awesome job cleaning my windows, which were challenging. We did the premium house cleaning and window wash with the 5 day window rain guarantee. I wasn't completely disappointed but I wasn't jumping up and down with amazement either. They had a "last minute" opening to get us in June 1st in the afternoon. I couldn't be home but they said usually you don't need to be anyways and could move forward. I was able to be home when they started but not finish. I let the gentleman know before he started I did have to leave. The mildew and algae was removed which was our biggest concern on the back of the house. Other then that I had very low expectations so it wasn't surprising to return home to see dried residue on the home or that there was still leaves, spiderwebs and debris stuck in some of the windows etc. I put a call into Tom and he explained some of the stuff that didn't come off was from the mulch and called artillery mold. I was under the assumption of the home needed some elbow grease they'd scrub or whatever they needed to do. He said this only comes of with your nail. He said they could come out and they do a rinse on the house to get rid of the marks that were dried residue. I also let home know it rained that night so since we had the 5 day window guarantee for rain we could just schedule and do it all at the same time. Scheduling and communication was more difficult to have them come back. I wasn't super impressed with their response time or followup. They showed up today, June 18th but I wasn't aware of when or if they were coming since there wasn't any followup communication. Most of the marks had washed away and he wasn't aware about the windows. The employee explained something that I'm sure makes sense to them that it wasn't actually a rain guarantee so I felt very misled and ripped off. He did clean a few windows that looked like they had debris that were missed originally on them and that was it. We also couldn't see the marks on the house because the sun hadn't yet moved to the backyard so he just hand wiped off a few spots instead of spraying down the house like Tom said they would. I would probably try another company before I had them out again. I was impressed with the green growing crap gone with the soft wash and hoping it doesn't come back quickly like their claim to fame.
