Although the owner of Pocket Full of Posies was away at the time of my making first contact with her shop, she returned my call promptly upon her return! Fortunately she was quite familiar with the venue my daughter had chosen (outdoor wedding at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen). She arranged for a video call so my daughter, who lives in MN and I, whose home in NJ, could discuss details about the fall wedding. Without much input from the bride, except for the color scheme of her bridal party, the owner suggested a circular brass backdrop laden with flowers for the area behind the actual outdoor ceremony. It was a lovely addition! We trusted her experience and artistic skill in selecting the composition of all the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and aisle decorations. For the indoor reception we only needed a few vases of flowers for the gift table, cake table and seating card table since I was providing all the table decorations.! We were able to reuse the circular backdrop behind the Bride and Groom's table and had a swag of flowers across the front. I thought her prices were reasonable and did not mind the extra cost of delivery since the shop was actually quite far away in St. Paul. We agreed to disassemble the brass circlet and box it to return along with the three vases on the following Monday. The owner was very helpful with money saving suggestions and always prompt in responding to our questions.
